Assassin's Creed Mirage features mtx

Upgrades to disable ads? THE FUCK?

It's possible to hide all DLC purchase options through parental controls. The easiest way to do this is by simply removing the "ads" displayed on the main menu.

That's mild.

They have been doing that since Oddissey, you can easily skip the xp boosters.

Meanwhile, Overwatch 2 has different $40 skin packs every week,

you could buy a mansion for the price of every mtx in that game.

Shhh your ruining the hate train.

I'm not planing on buying anyway, but somehow that news makes me happy with my decision. Boycott Ubisoft feels so right for me, LMAO.

MTX is a normal thing now. It's been in the last 3 Assassins Creeds now.

Why would people be surprised at this?

Ubisoft is ahead of the game, ad disabling, is coming to streaming services, online titles and probably triple A in the future. We can't escape it. Developers will continue to design games that require microtransactions to make the gaming experience better. Ads are coming, don't kid yourselves. How many screens to you want to see when you load your game? your $69.99 USD is not enough. All hail our digital overlords.

Ubisoft is brave, but others will follow.
