Assassin's Creed: Shadows reaches 3 million players

That doesn't have to do with anything.

And even worse, you're comparing an old game sold for as low as 5$ to a recent full price game.

It has a lot to do with it, since people are always dismissing low ACS steam numbers with "but muh Ubisoft Connect!"
So here is much older game that was also released on other platforms and subs, given away for free there, still doing bigger numbers.
ACS still had a decent launch, especially on consoles, but on PC it's a bust.
I am curious what numbers Yves is gonna publish in couple days during their investor call, if any.

No doubt the numbers on PC were not good. No getting around that. I think we will probably get revenue numbers like we did with Valhalla.

Wonder why Odyssey has so many players right now. Valhalla and Origins are just in the 2k range.
I'm not sure how related it is, but it seems that a gacha game is doing a collab with Assassin's Creed, specifically Odyssey.

Players of that gacha game might want to catch up on Odyssey before the collab begins later this summer.

I think it's a game with the best done world out of the Ubi's new games. Origins has better story but set characters. Valhalla is trash. Shadows is meh.

I rate Valhalla quite highly (the best of Origins, Odyssey Valhalla imo), though it's another which is only tenuously an AC game.

This is just funny as fuck to me. KCD1 from 2018 which was given out for free on multiple occasions on Epic, was in Gamepass, still has more players than AC Shadows on Steam.

…because it got an absolutely massive spike from KCD2, and is on a steep discount at the moment, selling for 14x cheaper than AC Shadows.

1) How many copies did you sell?

2) How much money did it cost to make?

3) How much total revenue has it earned?

Stop with this "reached" bullshit
