Toonami has to show the full opening, hell its probably half the reason it got as popular as it did.
any news when its season 2 is coming btw ? recenly they brought back fairy tail and i am very happy with that. now i need attack on titan season 2 and i am a happy panda. this will make my weekly 1 eps watch is good again

It will. It's opening the block, and all the shows that open the block on Toonami show the full opening. Same with Space Dandy.

No channel would be crazy enough to air an Anime in a prime time slot. Hell even in Japan there are few channels willing to take that risk.
Attack on Titan is the newest series they have on there now with premiere episodes and is being heralded as the big gateway anime out there at the moment. It makes a lot of sense to start the night off with it. What's gonna be interesting is a few months from now when Space Dandy returns with new episodes and Dandy goes back to 11:30.
Just bumping since this starts airing in 24 (23.5) hours on Toonami tomorrow.

I can't wait to see this tonight, it looks really interesting while being well animated and admittedly I've been curious about it since I heard all the buzz about it early last year.
That said I can't stand watching subbed anime, and I actually like and prefer dubs as long as they are good quality ones.

The dub ain't bad so far, but who the hell thought changing the Survey Corps' name to the Scout Regimen was a good idea?
Survey -> Scout is fine, Survey makes them sound like middle office or non-combat troops. Regimen is questionable though.

This was really, really good and genuinely shocking in some parts.
The zipline things they use are really neat too, overall I'm strapped and locked into however many seasons of this there is.

Weird to see someone who is new to the franchise at this point! Definitely avoid spoilers if you can(they are every where) because there is some amazing stuff coming up.
Nah, he plays Kirito in SAO, Tiz in Bravely Default, and Makoto in Danganronpa.
A tip: do not Google any of the characters. Ever.

Until I re-watched it recently with a friend the subs I watched always had them as recon corps, always thought that seemed the best but probably just because that's what I first saw.

Best anime of 2013. Definitely one of the top ones... pacing can be a problem sometimes and the animation too still in certain scenes, but when the moments do come, and there are many... it shines.
Awaiting Season 2 for 2015! Won't spoil myself with the manga, the anime is too badass.
I would recommend the manga anyway, but then I remembered the manga has some of the worst art I've ever seen, just terrible. And yeah, you are better off waiting for the anime with superior art.
Funny, I've watched/played all of these titles just within the last month. Papenbrook is everywhere.
