I played the demo and it seemed like a Deus Ex/System Shock type and I like those just fine. I never got far enough to see any real combat encounters and that part has me iffy on.

For me Takahashi got bumped out just because he only did tag matches during G1, and Ibushi came back and performed like a god. I'm sure Hiromu will have a 5 star match in September or October and get right back. The rest is the same.

I'm so amused at my top 3 pretty much being the top 3 guys in the promotion from a booking stand point. I think it's safe to say I've found a wrestling show that caters to me pretty damn well!

Im not sure about all the details at the moment. But as far as I can tell they have added a lot as well as new factions you can work with or against.

Impact was kinda alright tonight. The Bruce Prichard segments were rough and I'm sure it's going to immediately go downhill but at least I had fun for one night.

Yeah, my top 15 is kinda WWE free, BSS is there, but for their work in Progress, not for what they do in the non-existent WWE British scene.

Yep.

Same really.

I put Suzuki above Okada on my petsonal lis just because personally I love Suzuki's character more.

ZSJ was already number 5 but his G1 work solidified it. Especially that "Fuck Every Part of Your Body" Lock he used against Ishii. Greatest submission move of all time.

Nagata will probably drop out of mine once G1 high goes away and I'll probably revise with Evil and Sanada. I'd even say Evil could take number 15 over Ospreay/Ricochet maybe right now. He probably definitely will after his title match with Okada.

His blog post update on his health 2 weeks or so ago said he was looking to come back full time

WK 2018 is way too optimistic obviously but yeah, he's going to be back and I wouldn't be stunned if it was in time for the next G1

It's crazy to think that in the history of the business that spands ya know almost a hundred years... that we are alive to watch arguably the greatest year of it with what NJPW and some of the indies are doing.

Like there's been thousands of tournaments and we all got to see the greatest one just end

For me Neville is definitely top 5 and is one of the only 2 or 3 current WWE guys who wouldn't get exposed in Japan. WWE roster has a lot of talented guys but New Japan is in a whole different level right now.

They probably believe he won't be able to make it to the top again but he obviously will, and pretty easily too

Also, Bryan has the potential to make even more money than the Young Bucks, Cody and Omega.

If there's one thing that supersedes Vince's ego, it's his desire to make money.

And you're foolish if you think any more than a very select few there think he won't go out and be a star elsewhere.

I don't know, I wouldn't have thought CJ Parker would stand a chance in New Japan either, and yet...

AJ, Nakamura, Joe, Zayn, Neville and Cesaro would be better in New Japan for sure.

Meltzer did say that if WWE allows Bryan to wrestle, he would re-sign with them and not go anywhere else.

So it's just a matter of how much they value him, and how much they don't want other people to have him. I mean hell, I constantly see the argument of "they just signed X guy because they don't want anyone else to have them".

Well I guess we'll see.

Pretty much.

He can at least talk himself into the idea that Bryan would be healthier, especially given the hyperbaric treatments he's been doing this year that have a history of helping with brain injuries. It wouldn't be that he was wrong, it would be that the situation has changed.

I heard he lives in like a 1800 sqft house. Dude doesn't give a shit about money. He wants to work strong style in the G1 and main event a CMLL show.

So I finished Day 12 of the G1 last night. B block days are just nowhere near as good as A block days, maybe that will change for the final few days but they are harder to get through at the moment.

Evil vs Omega was a weird chaotic match with a finish that made Omega look like a complete selfish unsafe dickhead. Evil getting knocked out only for Omega to then still hit more awkward v-triggers and then deadlift Evil into the One Winged Angel only to cover Evil in a super arrogant way was surreal and quite uncomfortable.

Omega tried to pin him. Red Shoes should have ignored Evil's foot being under the rope or stopped the match entirely. That is the entire reason there even is refs in this fake sport.

Besides they are claiming it was a work. Though I kind of doubt it.

He doesn't, but Meltzer obviously isn't basing what he's saying off of nothing. He probably has more info than we do, and he knows Bryan. Him saying Bryan would stay if they let him work means there's a high likelihood that's the case.
