Now that Summerfest is over and I have a few weeks off Im trying to decide what to start reading.

I tried to start Ready Player One but it is kind of.. I dont know. Im struggling to get into it.

I have The Iron Council by China Mieville here. Another Bas Lag novel. It seems like it is about a socialist revolution in Bas Lag and a train network, where the track is pulled up from behind the train and used to build the path forward. It sounds interesting but Mieville can be a challenge.

Then there is The Lies of Locke Lamora by Scott Lynch and Norse Mythology by Neil Gaiman.

I feel like The Kingkiller Chronicle has totally spoiled me for books.

Lesnar coming back after being completely destroyed, come on now. Match was really fun but this ruined it, the ending with him and Reigns was just boring.

Also, AJ vs Owens was very average, the dumb spots with Shane slowed the match down and just felt awkward.

Apparently his big move is to retain a titles without a clean pin. Only plus side to Nakamura losing is that it apparently wasn't clean so it didn't bury him. Wish Vince would stop this habit of finding anyone over to lose for his projects though. He kills everyone else's momentum to build his own shit instead of riding out popular stuff. If its not that he blows feuds on live tv and 50/50 books them till all conflicts that could build anyone are irrelevant.

So glad I'm NJPW mainly. All I do anymore is read the dirtsheets and catch "highlights" on WWE because the matches suck. Hurts to see so many top talent suckered into oblivion with that company though. Nak shoulda stayed home at NJPW. I think it'd be better to continue to build with the competition than to fade into something less with the known fed.

Uces vs New Day was really fun, way better than expected IMO
And the main event was 4 big guys trying to kill each other in the most destructive way
without using weapons

For some reason they just insistently think 'make the popular person lose' will put the heat on the bad guy, but it doesn't, it just makes us hate Vince etc more.

Only the children get angry at Jinder for cheating lol, everyone else just shakes their head like that woman in the crowd not out of sadness, but out of who books this crap feeling.

I was a fan of Jinder going over Borton but at this point Jinder has done everything he was going to, he's been doing the same promo for months, it was time to move the belt to someone else.

LOLCORBIN. Seriously lol, I don't like him but what did he do to deserve a career kill off that badly? There is no way he recovers from that amount of jobber. He doesn't have the talent or ability to turn this into something positive. Guess they're still trying to get these young up and comers like Cena and Orton over. :| Cena looked like he was waving goodbye again.

Bork still being around just makes me ugh even more, sooo sick of him, just piss off already.

And worst of all, Alexa lost. :(

You know, with these pipe dream India and China pushes, I feel like WWE is really neglecting a very obvious marketplace: Brazil.

I know between 200 million Brazilians and 1.3 billion Indians they see "1 BILLION WWE FANS!?" for India but that's just delusional and never going to happen. Brazil has a big sporting fanbase, including a huge MMA fanbase you could probably tap into, and they seem very devoted to their sports heroes and are all over that social media WWE loves so much.

They have one Brazilian girl training at the Performance Center, Taynara Conti, and I have noticed that if she is ever in a video on WWE's youtube, even in a small role, the comments are flooded with Portuguese messages. Same with that Cezar Bonani fellow who has only really been a jobber so far. It seems like that "huge foreign following" they're trying to do with Jinder in India could be done with extreme ease with a Brazilian star. They really should go down there with some tryouts and hire a pile of Brazilian athletes, like they did with China.

Can you make money with a tour, or Network subscriptions? I have no idea, but it seems like an untapped marketplace.

I think the Sasha heel turn had a chance to save Bayley but I guess we're not gonna find out any time soon. Don't even know what Sasha can do with that title other than give it back to Bliss. She gonna go against Nia Jax for the millionth time? I don't see them pushing Emma any time soon as creative seems to enjoy burying her quite a bit at the moment.
