I thought Dean came off pretty well on the interview and the shoot on Brock was pretty satisfying. Austin was a little too pushy at times, the parts where he was looking for childhood trauma that probably wasn't there and basically telling him to be 'Jon Moxley' were pretty awkward.

The only time I've 'hated' Rusev was during the Summer angle, but that was mainly due to hating the angle and the irreparable damage it did to Lana, one of WWE's extremely rare strong female characters.

The only one who really suffered from the Hot Summer angle was Lana. Rusev made the best of it, got some good laughs. Summer had nothing to lose. Dolph at that point had nothing to lose. They were trying their Americanisation of Lana idea, and it was immediately hitting a wall, nobody wants to see CJ Parker.
They've pretty much rehabbed them back to where they were but there's been a lot of shit to wade through before they got here, and it isn't quite the same as it was. They could still proceed further with Rusev and Lana, but they'd need to make them a priority for that to happen and I dunno if they ever will, even though they absolutely should.
I guess we'll see what happens with the Roman feud. With all the changes going on, it's nice to not be sure what the outcome will be.

- In June 2014, I graded him a C in my very special edition of the Roster Super Grades!
- In November 2014, I called him a "bum", but accepted his refreshing role as an unstoppable heel. I also appreciated his selling.
- In February 2015, I ranked him #9 in my WWE Top Ten.
- In July 2015, I lamented that he wasn't on some wrassle card.
- In June 2016, I declared that he had a top-tier look and should be the top heel.
Seems like a natural progression. He didn't click with me initially, but I came around, and he more than likely improved over time.
