I love watching faded legends just light up in a big tournament and put it all together, at the point where it's never been more difficult, they've lost a step and the chasing pack is younger and probably want it more, but somehow they find a way to eek out one last chance at glory. It's why I really warmed to Sampras during his last few years on the circuit, after being mostly indifferent about him during his imperial phase at Wimbledon. It's also why I've become more of a Fed fan in recent years.
