Doubting a James Cameron sequel? That's like doubting the sun rise. After the shitfest that was Avatar 1, people have every right to doubt the sequel.
Yep that shit fest. I found the visuals amazing at the time but everything else was fucking terrible. No way this does Avatar 1 numbers.Shitfest? The highest grossing movie of all time that spawned a theme park... That shitfest?
How often do you go back and rewatch Piranha 2 though?Doubting a James Cameron sequel? That's like doubting the sun rise.
The movie James Cameron didn't direct? Once or twice, why? What point are you trying to make? How often do you go back and rewatch Piranha 2 though?
But he directed two weeks of it!The movie James Cameron didn't direct? Once or twice, why? What point are you trying to make?

He was fired after two weeks. Tobe Hooper “directed” more of Poltergeist than Cameron did Piranha 2.He did direct it.
If you're going to talk about something, I'd recommend learning about it first. Helps avoid these kinds of situations. He did direct it.
Take the L dude, you were wrong. If you're going to talk about something, I'd recommend learning about it first. Helps avoid these kinds of situations.
You're attempting to correct James Cameron himself about one of the most infamous director firings in the history of cinema? Kindly fuck off.Take the L dude, you were wrong.
You just admitted he was a director in your ramblings above, no need to get this upset. You're attempting to correct James Cameron himself about one of the most infamous director firings in the history of cinema? Kindly fuck off.
He just did your homework for you and you disrespect him like that? Educate yourself. Read the source material he so kindly provided you.You just admitted he was a director in your ramblings above, no need to get this upset.
Read it yourself, he directed it and is credited as doing so.He just did your homework for you and you disrespect him like that? Educate yourself. Read the source material he so kindly provided you.
That or you're here to troll which i'm honestly starting to suspect you're doing.
Stop trolling.Read it yourself, he directed it and is credited as doing so.
“Technically, I have a credit as the director on that film. However, I was replaced after two-and-a-half weeks by the Italian producer. He just fired me and took over, which is what he wanted to do when he hired me.”
It’s written in your quote, he directed it for two and a half weeks.Stop trolling.
Part 1 still looks like its from the future. The movie is great. Anyone doubting the greatness of Avatar is now dead to me.i recently took the kids to see the rerelease of Avatar in 3D IMAX and i think people honeslty forget what a fucking spectacle that movie is, it was 3hrs of pure eyeball melting and at the end they had a 5min preview scene of the bit with jakes kid i assume in the water with the whale and it looked incredible in 3D, ultra clear and completely lifelike, yeah storywise the first Avatar may not be for some but again, this is an event movie not a watch on streaming on yer 60" telly, half of what made Avatar so amazing was those visuals on a big screen and this looks like more of the same shit
What denial? Quite a few people are saying that they're not going to see it. What are they denying? The amount of denial in this thread is at maximum levels
Not really feeling the hype. Looks good at least but the story looks like a generic native tribe vs evil corp with added FAMILY plot.
Love that show!! So amazing!
You will be ashamed of your words and deeds.Looks like a trashy movie. Can’t believe I’m on the outskirts here with the Rings of Power, but so many people think this is a promising movie.
First one was one cliche after another. Outside of the visuals it had nothing. How is anyone hyped for this series?

No one should watch the movie again. The cliche of a paralyzed veteran from a dystopian Earth replacing his twin brother as the driver of an alien-human hybrid on the Gaia-entity moon of a gas giant in the Alpha Centauri system and ending up as a transhuman warrior driving the sky people back to their dying world...
Some people ITT should watch the movie again.
Pretty cool moment of
Quaritch crushing his own skull.
