well, I will unironically probably play it on multiple platforms, as cross save makes this a non-issue.

maybe mainly on PC for that hopefully better performance, probably on Series X from time to time... and depending on how grindy it is I might do some mindless grinding on my Phone or using my Deck and remote play

so, their new ad campaign applies to me I guess 😭

They are trying really hard to make this industry standard..

It’s pretty much industry standard for many types of games these days.

It's worth nothing when most games are at their worst on launch day. 99.9% of games get better with patches and dlc.

99.9% of games don’t get any patches between the first and 3rd - 5th day of release.

Early access has zero value. All it does is gate keep and push fomo. Peak anti-consumer.

I don’t see how it harms the consumer, since the launch date for physical retail and that of broad digital availability are the same.

I’ve never paid for early play. It matters nothing to me that a fraction of the player base pay for a perk to play it earlier than the advertised release date.
Hell, it even helps to get user reviews if you were on the fence.

I saw it on Battle.net, and I was very surprised. Are they going to release Microsoft games there from now on? If so, why didn’t they bring Indiana Jones and Flight Simulator to Battle.net? I just can’t figure out what these guys are trying to do.

I think it's just this one, for now at least. No indication (AFAIK) about future MS games.

I don't understand why it's releasing on battle.net though.
