Yups, i actually went tru that shit and lemme tell u, it feels like the doc is putting alien in u, u start cursing w/o noticing, whole procedure is probably less than 20min long but u will defo remember some of that time till the rest of ur life :messenger_astonished:

I had one but they put me under for it. Maybe next time I'll ask for the deluxe experience you got :pie_thinking:

The guy before me was some gray hair grandpa around 60yo and he indeed got put under anestetics, but after procedure he used wheelchair for a bit and had to stay like 2hours there under observation on top he needed an adult to take him home, so i said fuck that shit im invincible superman and am pretty accustomed/resistant to physical pain, after having so many streetbrawls(grew up in poor polish area, changed schools few times, stuff happens even if u try to avoid that getto shit), turns out internal physical pain can be painful as all fuck :messenger_confounded:

I played through Outer Worlds 2. It was decent and a solid sequel.

I am currently playing Avowed and really enjoying it. I think Avowed is the better value of the 2. But if you prefer shooting and space aliens, you may like Outer Worlds 2 better.

Lol oh I feel you on that one. I've experienced all kinds of pain. Nothing compares to the really bad ulcer I had in high school. That had me in the nurse's office all day. In agony. Waves of gut-wrenching pain with no relief. I'd rather get punched in the nuts once a week for a year than experience that ever again. 😔

I have been playing Outer Worlds 2 for a few days. I restarted a couple of times because I could not decide on a build direction. After playing around I went with Guns and Science. I'm undecided on anything else so I will add a point here and there as needed for perks. Most of the points will likely go to speech. The game did not grab me at first but I am starting to get into it. I am not sure how Avowed is, but Outer Worlds 2 can lock you into broken builds. I do not have to min/max to enjoy a game but I can see how some of the flaws I have come across could completely ruin someone's game.

I had fun, often a great deal thereof with The Outer Worlds 2. I didn't vote since I have no experience with Avowed but would probably try it if it ever came to Playstation. My time was overall great, I enjoyed the more ImmSim gameplay choices and the dialogue was often funny. I didn't like some of the story paths as it felt very unnatural and forced, like the whole setup got rid of several actors such as Spacer's Choice so as to distill the field into a more narrow and easier to follow set of options.

My main complaints were the companions and the limited nature of the game. I was max level far before the end and thus, everything felt like there was no real reward save for a few items(weapons and armor) and then it didn't matter. The exploration was vastly improved upon. But dear god I wish they'd get some better writers/actors for the companions. A few were ok such as the starters, but a few such as that Aza or whatever murder cultist rubbed me completely the wrong way. It was the story angle of some death cult but the acting and writing of a modern superhero flick or cg Disney movie. It was constantly jarring to the point of making me want to stop playing. Thankfully we can opt who goes in our party. I'm also not a fan of mandatory companion quests and their ilk. Some can be fine, but the usual plethora of options in regards to side content while supposedly the universe is on a short fuse gets old. I dunno, it felt like many of the friendlies are designed by too many people but lack any real pazzaz or coolness, or sexiness or intrigue. Too modern audience I guess.

Anyway, by the end for me, I was rushing to finish the game. I left some questlines unfinished and a few companions(only did 2). I can see making a run through the game again with a different build and choices, and plan to do so when the DLC releases. Seeing the game be so nihilistic is odd but I guess that is what they wanted. I miss the days of better npc allies though. I'll take Asian rpgs any day over what the west is putting out. Sometimes the art design was good, other times it was at odds with itself. Overall among the prettiest games the dvs have ever made. I like some of the stations on the Wireless, name Auntie's Choice and some Protectorate songs. I wonder if they were AI? Or just using old songs and inserting new lyrics, definitely recall major classics which is nice.
