This puppy + a Zalman Al/Cu heatsink and and the love of a good board.... will she overclock? Do you have better sources where I could look up this AXDL2500DLV4D Barton?

here's charts I found on Bartons. I don't know if this is a mobile chip or not. From what I gather, the mobiles aren't any different than the normal Athlons, cept they're not clock locked.

--Barton-- Die size: approximately 54.3 million transistors on 101mm². Manufactured using AMD's state-of-the-art 0.13µ(-micron) copper process technology at AMD's Fab 30 wafer fabrication facility in Dresden, Germany.

here's some WCPUID chart from a Russian forum that, I think, is this Barton that newegg has:

You got answers? I got questions.

AFAIK, all mobile Athlon XP's model # starts with AXM. I think that's a desktop part. Should still be able to overclock OK.

I have a Zalman Al&Cu, and I was about to put it on a 2200, but I'm thinking o/c. It's a gift machine, and I guess I could wait till the price dropps even more, but maybe I'm temped now.

A different question but related: What burn-in applications would you use? If I don't use the 2200 and I get this 2500 to oc a bit, either way it will be paired with a 9600 with 128-bit memory. Also, maybe since this if a gift system, I won't be able to travel 300 miles to tweak it if it ever overheats or something messes up. I'll either burn it in really well OR get a real 3000 XP.

SETI@Home? Folding@Home? 24hrs of either would be fine I'd guess.
