Quote for NA code, enjoy.
This is interesting. There's some censorship of death in US Gunvolt? Defeating the Sumeragi folks at least first time, their swords don't completely break. Maybe that changes later, but I'm absolutely positive in JP they completely break regardless. Although, it might make more sense this way considering the gauntlet.
I'm kind of rookie when it comes to Inti Creates games (I've played most of MMZ1 and MM9); is this a good place to start, or would I be better off playing through their GBA and DS games first?
Thanks for the response. Your comment is inline with what I have read about it.It's not so similar as a gameplay experience to the Zero/ZX games or MM9/10 IMO beyond just action platforming. There are quite a few design and mechanics decision that make Gunvolt fairly unique compared to other MM series.
That being Gunvolt is also very accessible so feel free to dive right in.
So the game handles great? Not a big Megaman head but I'm looking forward to Might Number 9. Was thinking of getting this game before hand. The 2 for 1 deal is really tempting as well.
I don't think you've truly beaten this game unless you've gotten the "true ending." The final stage and final boss fight (in the true ending only) add a real climax to it all. Enjoyed this game immensely.
If you're having trouble with the final boss (in the regular ending), make sure you're taking full advantage of prevasion. Using gear that increases flashfield power also really helps.
I just redeemed that code and it worked, so...thanks!! Now will have both Gunvolt games!=/ Damn my Aussie 3DS
Quote to see NA code.
Gather more upgrades before facing him.Nobody's talking about this game. I thought it was pretty good. Could not beat the final boss though. I enjoy Mighty Gunvolt a lot as well.
Got this the other day on a whim...the gameplay is unique, but very stop and go...I'm wondering are there any videos out there of advanced play. I feel like this game lends itself to some cool playstyles but I haven't figured it out yet.
Or maybe I'm just expecting more from the game than what's really there.
Gunvolt 2?!?I watched this game on AGDQ as well. It's a great game! I finally beat the normal final boss. I just had to get lucky with it. Looking forward to the sequel or whatever they make next. Inti creates is streaming something tomorrow night at 6pm Pacific time.
So turns out a week ago "Easy Mode" and "Hard Mode" were released for the Steam version.
