just got this film from my local DVD store

holy christ Bale is thin in this flick!!
its scary how thin he is, and now when you see him in Batman he is all buffed up again.


and i also picked up this film

havent seen it yet but i will tonight with my GF

Boogeyman sucked.. you should have saved yourself some money.

If your girlfriend defines scary in as in "gotcha" jump points... there are a few of those... but the final "battle" is complete ass, mostly because the screen is swirling around like a whole bunch is going on... but nothing really IS going on.

yeah she loves when a movie builds up towards a "Gotcha" jump scene, and i love it aswell as i like to shout out loud so she gets even more scared hahahaha.

well i got it with 25% off só it was a bargain

On a side note, over the summer I have to buy some of these flicks I've missed out on over the past 10 months or so. I really like Hollywood's recent infatuation with thrillers/horror movies, no matter how bad most of them end up being. It's my favorite genre. Well, a really well-made mystery movie would be my favorite, but I don't imagine that anything particularly clever or interesting will be coming out of the major studios anytime soon.
