OT but who else does that other than cinemax? Starz, Showtime and AMC? Although AMC is just the AMC logo at least, does seem weird that it's done more on premium channels than basic tv networks.

Great opener. I'm already way more excited about all the plotlines they've set up as opposed to last season. (Except maybe the Brock stuff, I don't know how I feel about that.) My only other issue is that Chayton is too perfect so far. I know they want to make him intimidating, but he's like god mode already. Not a huge deal, but I hope they show him making some fumbles too.

Great first episode. There should be plenty of great stuff coming with the Indians and 'the big one'. Even the troubled daughter stuff is fun to watch, not like Dana's storyline in Homeland.

Fantastic episode overall.
Chayton was incredible - WRONG! Goddamn, with a single word, he owned that entire scene. Such presence. And that beatdown - my god. Dude didn't even break a sweat.
I really like the idea of the native Indian population rising up against the status quo. Will be interesting to see how it develops and how the Amish factor in going forward. A three way war maybe with the military base acting as the unknown element?
I can't shake the feeling the Colonel isn't going to let the deaths go unanswered and he definitely won't be leaving it up to the authorities to investigate and bring them to justice.
Rebecca - Oh my. So hers and Proctor's relationship has finally taken the next step? Wow...wasn't it so soon, thought there'd be more build up and an explosive sex scene.
Nola - OH MY. really hope she sticks around for more than a couple of episodes this time. I want to see her team up with Chayton and wreck some shit.
Gordon - sigh. Please, someone put this guy out of his and our misery.
Oh shit at the Hood/Chay stare-down. Goddamn, such an intense moment.
Oh Job - shit never works out his way. Fantastic way to re-introduce him though. What's the deal with his head though? Tattoos?

Hated last season after loving the first. It was directionless and besides a few moments, lacking in excitement, the definition of sophomore wheel spinning. I felt they tried to become a b movie version of Rectify with all the navel-gazing.
Thankfully the season 3 premiere is off to a good start. It actually has a seeming focus and some good direction already, and merely has to be the mayhem filled pulp action show it was in the first season again.
