Battlefield 6 Official Reveal Trailer

Trailer is out, apparently the game is all about explosions, you don't use guns.

Look at BF1/bfV maxed out on pc, and then come back to this trailer. They used to improve graphics by a good amount with every entry, and this feels like bf2042 but with more shit happening.
Its an "in engine" trailer. Lets see the actual game running natively on a maxed out PC eh?

Here's the reveal for BF1, if you think 6 isn't improved by a fair amount then I don't know what to say.

I liked it!
Very Battlefield 3, which in my opinion they need to go back to. Am fine with the Multiplayer being revealed next week. They have to get the hype train going.

If this game can deliver what the trailer promises then it will be a return to form!

Yea, i kinda figured that it was in engine, but when you look at the lighting, textures, etc, it really is not impressive at all. Gameplay reveal of bf2042 looks very samey, and that's real gameplay, not some in engine stuff. Particle effects and physics is the big difference that is very noticeable, not visuals. Oh and maps don't look as empty as they were in 2042, but that's mainly because of the 128 players limit, which is not even in bf6 as far as i am aware.

Why is this one more hyped than 5-one? Is it the close quarters nature? The urban environment? Idk why I'm more excited for this. Well I guess because it just looks like bf3 but better

I can no longer play CoD because it has became a parody of itself with the ridiculous skins. I'd come back to Battlefield if it actually resembles Battlefield once again...

Lots of assumptions there. Like I said lets see some native gameplay.

On another note why the fuck do they release this then nothing for a week? Should lead straight into a campaign level at the very least or the MP reveal. This is just 2 minutes of nothing really.

Same. They brought me back with MW2019 but are slowly losing it again. Don't think ill bother with COD this year if this turns out good.

It's pretty common, they want people to speculate all over the web, and talking about the game is marketing for them, so nothing new here. Would've done the same if i were them.

I just love hearing the BF theme, it's definitely one of the best ones out there. I just wish that trailer focused on that more. Just focus on the amazing theme and nothing else.

Still so wild for me to see people say they don't care about the multiplayer when that's literally all Battlefield ever was until Bad Company.

High chance EA is rushing this out before it's ready. A tale as old as time.
Yuuuup, gotta hit the holidays. When the release rumor was going around about the quarter it'd release in, it was hard to not assume it'd just drop for the holiday.

That's exactly it, because it looks like a better/more improved BF3/BF4.

While 5 had a rough launch, it got better with time. But man, BF1 was BEAUTIFUL. The audio and graphics were insane, and still are.

Sadly CG trailers do nothing for me but I'll check back in with the game when there's a gameplay trailer and a demo. Also, here's to hoping there's a server browser with player-ran servers since I don't play matchmaking these days. But who am I kidding, it's EA after all

Trailers without gameplay suck but they're particularly a waste of time for a franchise like this.

These games have sucked for 15 years, they should have come out swinging with some substantial gameplay clips.

Not getting excited for this yet.

I expected CGI ...I was not disapointed .
I think the last BF story mode I played was bad company 2 so its about next weeks trailer for me and the what maps they have not shown yet .
I must loop the loop in a chopper at the Brooklyn Bridge

The trailer was... fine.

The music was terrible.

And Frostbite really showing his age. CoD Modern Warfare was a huge jump in comparison.

I think DICE should reconsider evolving their engine or even move one.

Looks cool.
Hopefully they release the beta so I can be 100% sure this is the game. Praying for that to be good.

I just hope the Battlefield team learned lessons about map design after 2042. No matter how they patch it that game will never be good because of how bad most of the maps are.

Edit: Also fuck 128 multiplayer. Make the maps for 64 players, keep the game 64.
