Battlefield Hardline |OT| Battlefield FIVE-O

You know I was very skeptical of this game.. But I have had some serious fun with it.

Visceral made a game not as serious as Battlefield but still has the same feel.. They even improved on some of the mechanics.

Looking for some friends that will be playing the Xbox One version! I have the full game right now, so I'll be playing all weekend if anybody here wants to form a GAF squad. If you use your mic that's even better!

Just send me a GAF message with your gamertag and I'll add you when I log on tonight!

Oh shit, those reload easter eggs are amazing. I skipped BF4, but this might have to tickle my fancy until Rainbow Six

What? I thought they'd lock player so that they'll suit each mode.
One big issue in BF has always been idiot admins setting all servers to 64 players even for other modea than CQL. "64 players" has become a buzzword when it comes to Battlefield, as if it was always better with more players.

If it wasn't popular you would see the servers empty though.

Personally I prefer a high player count. I find it disappointing that even on ranked servers they have imposed player limits. Based on my experience in beta 32 players was enough for Heist, but not enough for Hotwire. It was way too easy to avoid the enemies. Short of completely changing the mode so it was like Rush where only one side drove the marked cars, it needs more people or smaller maps.

My brother ordered the game for me for Xmas so I will be playing a little, but I am not excited for the launch modes. 2 of the 7 are single spawn modes which I am not a fan of and tend to avoid. Hotwire was ok, but needed some significant tweaking since at least in beta it was always a lopsided match. Heist was a campfest in beta and Blood Money was the same way towards the end of the first beta.

Yeah so did I. 64 players is so hectic for the small maps, and The Block drops frames like crazy.

Any deals on Battlefield Hardline? (Looking at Hardline DD copy) PC copy ... I cant find a origin promo code no where

Battlefield Hardline |OT| Keep the drive-bys in game, please!

I've been playing it for a few hours (just online) am I'm really enjoying it, Blood Money is great fun but I haven't been able to try out some of the other modes like rescue as I can't find a full game yet.

Giving snipers the finger in game is great tho.

Are you using the server browser, then selecting 'full' option under the spaces criteria?

Easter Eggs. There seems to be a lot in this game.

Hopefully there are some good Dead Space related surprises in Hardline. I'm liking the tone you guys created with the reload animations, couch, etc. Nice breath of fresh air where FPS games are trapped are so overly serious these days. Bad Co. 1 was great in this regard, didn't like the shift in tone with BC2.

Looking forward to trying Hardline via EA Access this weekend.

I do not work with/for EA or Visceral Games.

But yeah I like the non-serious direction this game seems to be taking. I just found out this exists:

Haha nice.

I thought I read you did from a Dead Space thread at some point, oops. I'm pretty sure I saw a Visceral dev on GAF at some point. I think I more coffee is in order, haha.

It is always better with more players. I love 64 player team death match. If you forget about your k/d it's so much fun.

To be fair no, just the quick match option, I'll give the server browser a go though. Thanks!

I've seen a Dead Space Marker statue in one of the maps and in the everglades map you can see alligators slip under the water. Not really an easter egg but closer to the dinosaur mod than DICE ever got.

I didn't see anyone post this, but they aren't holding back review copies.

"That rumour about EA holding back review copies of Battlefield Hardline until launch day isn't true http://t.co/nDHhaPgQCw"
