For those unaware, Baylor University has been involved in a series of incidents involving rape and football players. The culture of the team and university fostered an atmosphere where rape was not only not discouraged, but all but ignored and allowed to occur. Systems for covering it up were set up by both the coaches and school administration so football players could continue to play and earn them revenue.
Coach Art Briles, their former head coach, was fired for his inaction and to "make a statement" and yet, not even four months later, here we are with both players and fans trying to bring Art Briles back as if he didn't make countless young women suffer due to his actions.
The university and the football program have learned, nothing, and need to be punished appropriately.
Baylor football has to die.
