I am not speaking about it, the game just simply go into slow motion even in a combo or moving.
I have two very good memory of huge ones, one in a alfheim, I was doing a air combo and there was only one ennemy and the game was slooooooow as hell. It was pretty strange because there was nothing particular and it was very very slow.
The second memory of a huge slow motion moment was when
the plane was sinking
, precisely during the moon sequence, it was awful. I didn't try a second time to verify if it was recurrent.

Now I am not saying that is constant, but it happens.

Some combos use a forced slowdown effect in order to emphasize their power.

That one on
the sinking plane
sounds like a legitimate error though.
 
There IS some slowdown in the game where the game goes basically into slomo mode even when you are not in combat. It's most noticeable during the
plane section
.

But it's really so far and between that it really is not worth mentioning.
 
They did an awesome job with the alfheims (the secret missions) . These missions show really well how you can get the most out of the battle system.

there is also a lot of slowdown in chapter 2 (virgrid city). when you walk around the city, the framerite takes a nosedive. also a lot of tearing in that chapter.
 
Ugh, spent too much time to go out to the SF best buy on Harrison st... And nothing, even though a girl on the phone there had told me earlier today that they had it and it was on shelves. Shit's annoying, I didn't want to wait til the 5th.
 
can anyone confirm if the game is street-dated?

i called a local target to see if they had the game, and they said they couldn't put it out till THIS tuesday. :lol

I was out at a local target (Philadelphia, PA) on Christmas Eve, and it was available for both PS3 and 360. Check it out: I hope I got these pics to work.

is it just me or is infinite climax mode incredibly easy?i played up to chapter 5 and see no difference to hard,where the only difference to normal was a few swapped enemies...i expected burning or raging enemies in every fight with gold durgas joining the party here and there....this is really disappointing for a kamiya/clover game

i would say dmc3 on normal = bayonetta on hardest -_-'

many of the later encounters with golden enemies in hard mode already locked witchtime...this energyball-counter-accessory is better anyway,you wont miss witchtime (though you still can activate it via the bracelet of time if you want)

I find the accessory that sacrifices witch time for a little explosive attack very helpful.

I'm at home for break and my mom came in and started talking to me for awhile while I was playing the game.

She has virtually no interest in games but she actually noticed Bayonetta and actually thought it looked neat. Kind of weird.

Ok level with me here GAF, I've tried both versions, 360 is obviously better looking, yet I prefer the PS3 controller for this game...what should I do?

If you have both systems, do yourself a favor and try both of the demos. Once you see both games firsthand, you won't have any doubts about which is best. I played the 360 demo several times then tried it on PS3 for shits and giggles...it was way worse, I thought people were exaggerating. Not only is the framerate much worse but it doesn't look nearly as sharp as the 360 version. I really like the dualshock but I thought that the 360 controller worked a lot better for Bayonetta, especially with the better, more responsive triggers used for dodging.

Anyways, you want the 360 version.
edit: Just re-read your post...so you have played both versions. My point is still valid, though.

Yes, you have to do all the Alfheims, I'm not sure how similar it is as I haven't got it :lol .
