Sir Chris Hoy
The Scot successfully defended two of his three Olympic titles from Beijing. That gave the 36-year-old six gold medals, making him the most successful British Olympian of all time.

OF ALL TIME!

American perspective here, but nothing comes close to topping what Mo Farah did. My wife and I literally stood up and started screaming towards the end of his 10K run. He and Rupp (training partners) broke the African dominance in that distance dating back to 1988. Incredible.

Start at the 29 minute mark.

Wiggins has to win it. Tour de France and Olympic gold in time trial. The others have done amazingly, but to win both those in the same year, in fact just a few weeks apart is quite something.

It's tough to watch any professional cycling in this day and age and not immediately suspect winners of doping. Not saying Wiggins has ever cheated, just that the sport is beyond tarnished.

Only just turned it on now. In any of the general sport montages has there been any reference to Harlequins winning the Premiership?
