Super cool. Michael Keaton is becoming A list again... It's so crazy to see
I can't imagine this movie without Catherine O Hara for some reason
When I saw a commercial for My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2 it got me thinking that taking a significant period of time off could benefit a sequel instead of sacrificing quality to rush a film out while it's at its peak popularity. Are there any successful sequels with massive time off that aren't franchises or reboots?
These examples only show Cameron is god of sequels and everything else is shit.
I would be okay with Tim Burton just producing.
This is going to sound weird, but Keaton is sorta slumming with this. I mean, it's a fun nostalgia project that fans (sorta) want. But he's been in two Oscar winners in consecutive years. I was hoping he would find another good project and win.

That would be perfect. The movie better open up with Beetlejuice's number finally getting called
Those oscar winners don't exactly pay the bills. This isn't slumming, this is collecting a fat ass cheque.

No...just...just leave it be.
Mad Max?
its kind of a franchise, but it wasn't super huge originally.
Its not a movie, but the (sort of) anime series Mysterious Cities of Gold got a second season after nearly 30 years.
...just waiting for that Innerspace sequel.
Only way the movie should start. The movie better open up with Beetlejuice's number finally getting called
Beetlejuice 2 and a Ghostbuster remake, what more could you wish for?
kill me

Exactly.Hasn't Keaton been wanting to do a Beetlejuice sequel for God knows how many years?
