I once got a full size untapped ice cold keg of budlight for $30, with tap and everything from a friend of a friend. Best part it was rented in that guys name so I got to keep the keg and tap and just took it to get refilled at a diffrent place, which was cheaper then renting a keg.

Oh, this one is easy.
I managed to get a Panasonic DVX100 for 500 bucks Canadian...Very good condition, and from a friend so I know I wouldn't get screwed over. The camera costs 4500 CAD new and is 190 bucks to rent PER day.

So getting this for 500 bucks is an amazing deal. I've had it for about 4 months now, and have had no problems.

I got free 15" LCD monitor from Gateway back in 1999. Back then these things were selling for 900 bucks. THe crazy thing is, my father tried to return in to Gateway a number of times and they just kept giving him the run around. So finally I just took it and that was that.

Until it broke. Then I called them up and had them ship me a new one. No questions asked.

I was pretty happy on Tuesday morning when "Get Behind Me Satan" was on sale for $9.88, and when I scanned it at the U-Scan checkout at Meijer it also had a mysterious $2.00 discount applied on top of that. I was happy to get an awesome disc for $7.88.

My favorite deal was when the internet boom occured. I was one of the few people that got a dvd player (early adopter). A website called 800.com had a deal where you could get 3 dvds for $1 and that included shipping! At the time dvds were fairly expensive and none of my friends had a dvd player so I had about 10 people order dvds for me. I got 30 dvds for $10. That was pretty sweet back then.

My college education . Having the school pay for me to go to a $40k university saved me. I can't even imagine forking over $160k over 4 years.

But for material goods hrm... when I was 7, I was at the local trading card store and the owner handed me a box of baseball cards. Obviously he had gone through several boxes and taken out all the super rare cards, but getting this many cards at one time was like walking into a cave full of treasure.

I got my current cellphone(sony erricson T300) for free plus $100 rebate. They PAID me to take the phone. And I actually got the rebate in the mail in a timely manner. 2.5 years later and the phone just wont die. I've dropped it so many times I cant keep track and I still get three days on standby with one charge. I really want a new phone but I cant justify it until this one craps out. I beginning to doubt it ever will. :lol
