At my house we always called them Freshitta, love them.

It's funny, I don't personally like most Freschetta pizza (or frozen pizza in general), but everyone in my family who's tried their Brick Oven style is surprised at how flavorful they are. They cook really well too, creating a nice crispy crust. And they are quite thin, meaning they are not too doughy like most frozen pizza. I linked to them in the original post. If you haven't tried them, maybe give them a shot.

These are pretty much the only frozen pizzas I like. I live in a tiny town and there are no local pizza places or chains, so I settle for these when I am in a pizza mood. Which is like every day.

Don't bother with regular frozen pizza anymore. Usually just get a couple take and bakes from Costco and throw them in the freezer.

They taste pretty fresh honestly. I remember dreading to eat it for the first time since mom always brought different types of awful frozen pizza, but man it was such a nice surprise.

Another vote for Totinos here. I know it's crap, but it's cheap and I do like having it every once in awhile. Most more expensive frozen pizza tastes worse and costs more.

It isn't a huge list, though I'm sure there's more out there than the scant offerings in my area---though these are still Top Tier:

Home Run Inn, Newman's Own, Ionian Flatbread, Screamin' Sicilian, UNO's deep dish, Annie's(Yes, that Annie's better known for some BBQ sauces and the like and some boxed meals/cookies/etc), Rising Moon Organic, BOLD Organics(insanely higher tier than most by far!), Donatos...

Totinos is to pizza like Taco Bell is to Mexican.

God bless it.

I mostly eat Trader Joe's Pizza Formaggio. It's not the best Trader Joe's pizza product, but I have a small toaster oven that does a good job with these when I need a quick and easy meal. The fat and calorie count is decent as well.

^was just about to post Gino's. It's deep dish, though.

For a middle ground price wise, Cheese-Stuffed Crust Tombstone's are legit.

Fantastical

I can get down with an Amy's Margherita. More like a flatbread than a pizza but pretty good.

Yep this is good. Although I made pizza homemade for the first time and it was life changing. It was very good and that was my first try! I'm going to try to perfect it. :D

These are fucking good. So much cheese. They're a bit pricey for a frozen pizza though - usually about $6 or $7ish.

All right I'm going to have to try this one. Do you know what stores sell it? Near me I've got a Corner Market, Walmart, RiteAid, and a Winn Dixie.

I believe those are British frozen pizzas. So somewhere in the UK.

Look, you just haven't lived unless you've had a goddamn Red Baron breakfast pizza at least once in your life, okay?

These are honestly one of the few things that I prefer heated in the microwave instead of the oven. Next time you're in Walmart and want to try something new, look for these in the breakfast aisle. Don't overdo it, though, because they're absolutely terrible for you.

I get the shitty £1 asda pizzas.

I like them and they're cheap and they're filling.

The kebab one is my favorite.

Lived on it in Uni especially when £ was running out.

Nardone Bros is my favorite. I think you can only get it in stores within a 2 hour radius of Scranton. Its amazing for frozen pizza though. The the mozarella they use is great.

(The picture does not do the pizza justice)

Frozen pizza is pretty terrible but I think it was Freschetta? that had the sauce in the crust. That was by far my favorite. I can take some Stouffer's french bread pizza and not feel guilty every once in a while.

Kashi margherita and Mediterranean pizzas are good for a quick fix. Trader Joe's has a couple good ones too but frozen pizza in general is gross. Half-cooked Lou Malnatis deep dish pizzas are godlike though.

Yeah I only buy these now. UK frozen pizza situation is dire.

UK everything pizza situation is dire.

Theres no decent takeaway joints at all. All I have here (big town) is dominos, a papa Johns too far to deliver to my house and some kebab shops with greasy ass pizza.

Dominos for two people is like twenty fucking quid.

At least we have some incredible real Italian restaurants here.

Digiorno and Red Baron.

I prefer those brands over Dominos and etc. I really prefer pizza from a local pizzeria place over everything tho.

I end up getting Jack's Bacon Cheeseburger pizzas quite a bit, best combo of value and taste that I've found.

Digorno, Freschetta and such are much better, but unless they are on sale I may as well just get a Dominos or Papa John's pizza.

You know you deep in the game when you can tell by looking at the pictures that Dr. Oetker & Chicago Town are in fact the same stuff under a different brand. We used to have that stuffed crust in Finland, still got them burger pizzas, which aren't very good.

Ok so strangely enough I was looking this up recently (best frozen pizza), and I delved into the idea of frozen deep dish pizzas being able to maintain a higher quality while frozen.

Haven't tried them yet (hope to, de'struggle and all that), but as far as deep dish pizzas go Lou Malnati's is supposedly the best:

Lou Malnati's deep dish pizzas (from an actual Chicago restruant chain). You can ship it out to yourself for about $30.

Curious about it. So can anyone who has had this, or any Chicago locals chime in on Lou Malnati's?

Chicagoan and pizza fan here. Lou Malnati's is the best deep dish pizza in the city. The half-baked pizzas are awesome... pretty much identical to freshly baked. Buy one, you won't regret it!
