PSP gets too much credit for design. The screen is beautiful, but in terms of actually using it as a portable, it comes pretty low on my list and I've owned many portable platforms in my life.
I saw someone on the bus today with a PSP. That's not news, since I have bought one myself . The news is, he had his metallic PSP case which makes his PSP about twice as big, and an electrical cord stuffed down his baggy pants pocket. The poor guy must be recharging the thing every few hours on the road.
The entire package looked unweildy with wires sticking out of his pockets. And if I was really looking to steal the PSP, it would be mine right now. The bus was packed and the guy was standing. He had no choice but to stuff his PSP and power cords into his rather large pockets while he used both hands to hold on for balance.
I would never feel comfortable being in public with what is essnetially a thick wad of cash so easily accessible to pickpockets. Luckily, he's in Vancouver Canada.
