Recently had myself a "Rob Roy" at a nice bar. Don't know what was in it but it was amazing.

When I was in college, my friend made me this mixed drink with Bacardi 151 and Malibu. I'm Googing and apparently it had pineapple juice in it as well....and is called a "Caribou Lou"

It was so good.

I was looking at making this. I think I might get some of that stuff soon.

Pisco Sour

both made with Pisco, first one is delicious and perfect way to start an evening and the chilcano is just the best god damned drink ever. Hot day cocktail and easy to make (ginger ale, pisco, lime, some bitters, ice).

I also had a bartender make me a random drink one time. It was a purple peach and pretty damn good. From what I see it's pretty easy to make.

A Midori Sour is my jam. With that being said, there is of all places, a hot dog place here in Austin called Frank that has amazing cocktails. I am too cheap to buy a $10 drink more than like once a year but it's worth it there.

A Rob Roy is a Manhattan made with Scotch instead of bourbon.

Had an Amaretto Sour yesterday and it was pretty damn tasty.

I don't really have anything huge to add to this, but when I was in NYC over the weekend the bartender at my hotel made an amaretto sour (FOR MY WIFE, phew) that was the best (AMARETTO SOUR, phew) I've ever had.

He made a froth foam head that was amazing, and just sat on top, and mixed perfectly with the amaretto portion. I wish I could recreate it.
