TLOU2 had a big launched number with ~4M copies sold but as we have seen in weekly sales chart across the globe in week 4, AC already outpacing TLOU2 in major market like Japan, UK, France, Germany, and etc.Good GOD, 22.4 million???
That's insane! This isn't some kind of record?
What's TLOU2 at?
Between 5-6M is a safe bet according to player numbers.Good GOD, 22.4 million???

Wow, i knew TLOU2 never had a chance, but i didn't expect AC to reach 20 million this fast.
Not even in the holiday season(Q3 is Nintendo biggest quarter) yet and boom 22 million copies milestones achieved in just ~3months lol.Wow, i knew TLOU2 never had a chance, but i didn't expect AC to reach 20 million this fast.
One console has double the user base. That should easily compensate for the time disadvantage. One game has been out for, like, half a dozen months longer than the other, right? What dope are we supposed to be smokin?
Between 5-6M is a safe bet according to player numbers.
Edit: LOL at the votes, 57 people actually thought TLOU2 was going to outsell AC, that's crazy.
ACNH already outpacing and outselling TLOU2 after 3 weeks on the market. One game has been out for, like, half a dozen months longer than the other, right? What dope are we supposed to be smokin?
TLOU2 decided to 'subvert expectations' and sprinkle in both misery and divisive, unpopular political messaging into a sequel for a game that was for a wider mainstream audience.
On PS4 only? I highly doubt this. Maybe together with a super duper enhanced PS5 version.I mean, it will still sell 15m+ copies. It's just that Sony exclusives generally don't sell as well as Nintendo exclusives.
Yes. Come to the island side, my childIs animal crossing really this good?
I remember playing new leaf, but nothing really clicked, even If I love the sims and Co.
Should I give the series another chance?
It's not going to sell more than Spidey despite launched higher than Spidey.I mean, it will still sell 15m+ copies. It's just that Sony exclusives generally don't sell as well as Nintendo exclusives.

" Another 5 minutes and I turn off "It's a chill, feel-good game where you can express your creativity. I never played it for long by my gf's review is essentially "kinda boring but I somehow spent 80 hours playing it".
I would be very surprised. It's already shown It's not got the legs and lacks the immediately engaging emotional punch of the first game, nor has there been the universal praise and overwhelmingly positive audience reaction that game enjoyed.I mean, it will still sell 15m+ copies. Did you look at AC numbers? Why that? Sonys exclusives always sell well.
Nintendo making close to 2 billion on something that took almost no money to develop is amazing.
True, look at how Cyberpunk 2077. But that isn't what I meant at all. We've had great games made for less than 1 mil better that shit on all the "funded" games on kickstarter. To be fair just because you throw millions at development does not mean it will produce something worth playing, TLoU2 being a great example of this issue.
Its not the family friendly aspect, but how it appeals to women thats so striking, its hitting that market that the sims hit.PS4 is an adult system and TLOU2 will no doubt be the best selling PS exclusive but a family friendly switch game especially in a time when many kids are confined to the house is going to be a monster in sales.
Oh it wasent cheap, nintendo usually have games in long development cycles with smaller teams than the west. Thats why they are so polished.Nintendo making close to 2 billion on something that took almost no money to develop is amazing.
+5.14M in Q3.We are entering holiday Quarter and prepare your butts for 30 million copies record breaker by Animal Crossing.
