How will ZeniMax/Bethesda's conference go?

I have been more disappointed than excited about a lot of games lately. Fallout 4 looked like there is so much to do, and just looks fun. I haven't been this excited for a game for years and I was not expecting that to be for this game. Wow.

Phew, thank god Fallout was presented, or I'd have written off that conference as a waste of time, to be honest.

Very much looking forward to the Fallout game(s).
Wow 500k on Twitch, crushed NWC 100k
Twitch was at around 220-240 when NWC was happening. So it's not THAT much of a crushing.

Pretty fantastic showing for Bethesda outside of Battlecry. Doom looked great. Fallout looked great. Dishonored 2 was an expected yet really nice announcement.

Definitely setting the bar high.

I went in with relative skepticism and thought it went pretty well.

I liked that they actually showed a significant amount of most of their games.

Doom generally looks on target, and Bethesda feels like they're actually trying to evolve their game model quite a bit.

The first half was pretty bleh in my opinion (which wasn't helped by IGN's streaming issues). However, that Fallout section was incredibly solid with everything we want out of an E3 demo (it's clear that this conference was created with this demo in mind).

The conference overall was well done. I'm not much of a Bethesda person myself, but I enjoyed their show very much and I might eventually try these games out, if my wallet allows for it

That conference ranged from god-awful (Battlecry) to incredible (Fallout 4), with plenty of weird shit along the way.

I feel really confident in Dishonored 2, despite the brief glimpse. Great art direction, multiple characters, developers talking player options and choice/consequence. It's going to be special, for sure. Dishonored: DE is a double-dip title.

I have to watch the Fallout 4 stuff again. There was just so many new things shown, it's mind-boggling huge. The gunplay seemed much smoother, even if it's still behind normal FPS'ers. Bethesda games have a way of overcoming that jank, though. 10/10 hype, and it's out this year?

my brain was melted by Doom and Fallout 4 . Hyped Fallout 4 will be out in time for thanksgiving and Xmas break, it'll give me a lot of time to get into the game.

Okay, some eagle-eyed Gaffer needs to tell me: in those PipBoy screens was there an item capacity limit? Because that crafting system is going to throw the normal Fallout hoarder tendencies into overdrive.

So many games around that time that I had planned to buy that I no longer will be buying at full price this year. Make way for GOTG. The only game that could possibly co-exist in my PS4 is Just Cause 3.

I thought it was a mediocre show, no megatons and everything was pretty much as expected. Microsoft and Sony have more to work with.
Agreed. Solid show but lets not get ahead of ourselves and say fallout won E3 just yet.
Fallout looks awesome though and doom looks incredibly polished.

So...you think they'll announce their beta launch during E3? It'd be nice to at least play around with Doom 4 to get a feel for it. Fallout 4 still though...damn.

I'm reminded the extent to which Bethesda's games tend to be all-consuming. Fallout 4 looks to take that to another level. Good lord. Bravo.

Must not get hyped. Must not get hyped. Must not get hyped. Must not get hyped. I always get bored with Bethesda games after 2 weeks of binge playing, I can't let myself get hyped...

Damnit, I'm hyped.
