How will ZeniMax/Bethesda's conference go?

A- for me. Off to a fantastic start thanks mostly due to Fallout 4 at the end.

Not a huge fan of Bethesda (because I don't play much of their games). Fallout at the end is what sealed it as a pretty great conference. Most of the stuff there was meh, but Doom looked really good and D2 looks interesting albeit being a cinematic trailer. Loved the room changing as it did.

Also, mad props to the UI designer(s) on Fallout 4. One of the best UIs I've ever seen for a game. Just fucking brilliant job guys, I'm jealous. Lovely way of implementing how you change the face and information about yourself once someone knocks on your door. Fucking awesome job guys, this and release date of the game were the two highlights of the show for me.

I just hope Bethesda don't do anything stupid like locking certain house builds etc to a XboxOne exclusive.

The color Brown will be a 6 month timed Xbox One exclusive. PS4 gamers will have to make do with a Fuscia colored wasteland as a placeholder.

Edit: OK, that was just mean. Lol

Why's everybody bitching about free figures?
Try and win yourselves some if your that jealous.

They gave them out as a celebration gift, not to win the press over for fuck sake.

Just to double check, we didnt get any sort of release timeline for Dishonored 2 right? At least I don't remember seeing a date or anything. Probably a long ways off.

Nope. Fall for the Dishonored Definitive Edition (remaster for next PS4/XB1), but nothing other than "we're working on it" for Dishonored 2

Man I wish they'd have put Fallout Shelter on Android though. That's a tough pill to swallow given how sweet it looks.

OP has been updated with a lot of stuff.

Question; do we have any expections for when we can pre-order the collectors edition? Because I need one (and I'm worried I'll miss it).

I dunno about you guys, but the rest of E3 will probably pale in comparison to this megabomb. Though I think there are some surprises.

This game went full force with customization weapons, armor, and houses... wasn't expecting that. The pipboy app, and the fallout shelter are nice little gifts.

It's going to be hard for me to sleep after this, far too excited. Bravo Bethesda.

I'd give this conference an 8/10. It was a 6 until Fallout 4.

- DOOM was disappointing, in my opinion. They spent way too much time on it and it really doesn't look like something that would keep my attention. The animations were very repetitive (especially the chainsaw). Overall, it just looked kind of blah, I thought.

- Battlecry looks fucking atrocious. Wow...

- Dishonored 2 looked very cool. I skipped Dishonered last gen so I'm excited to play the Definitive Edition on PS4.

- Elder Scrolls Hearthstone was a weird announcement, not very surprising, I guess. Card games and toys-to-life are hot right now.

- Fallout Shelter mobile game looked surprisingly good. I'll spend way too much time playing that if it comes to Android.

- Fallout 4. Fantastic. The crafting system looks amazing. Very clever character creation... I never even played Fallout 3 or New Vegas (I'm now regretting that, BTW) but I'm incredibly excited to play FO4 and I don't even really consider myself a fan of the franchise. So good.

I was totally on team 2015 and it's awesome that it's happening. Definitely on board for the pip boy edition if I can get it. I thought Doom looked really nice too. Overall I think the pace of the conference was great and E3 is off to a great start.

This was a great presentation, relaxed, plenty of detail, and most of all. Focused on games that will actually be out before the next E3.

Agree with all of this except I thought Doom looked pretty good. And yeah Battlecry looks terrible.. game is going to bomb hard.

It's up!

I think I am going to have to give this conference a B- . I thought Doom looked pretty good and they showed a lot of footage. Dichonoured 2 was a nice announcement, though one we saw coming. But the CGI trailer was a bit disappointing. Fallout 4 was the obvious highlight of this show, and they showed a lot to make it interesting.

I could not care less about the Elders Scrolls MMO, or that TF2 knockoff. The Hearthstone clone was kinda ... ehh.... but Fallout Shelters looked neat.

The conference did focus on gameplay first and they didn't put much emphasis on in app purchases (hopefully their mainline games are devoid of this) or pre-order bonuses, outside of the Fallout Pipboy, which was kind of cool.

Overall, not a bad showing for their first E3 press conference.

I know I'll end up owning the PC and PS4 version eventually, but I can't decide between a PC collector's edition or a PS4 collector's edition with a PC copy, both at launch so I can have the Pipboy and preload on steam. Hmmmm.

Excellent conference. Doom, Fallout 4 and Dishonored 2 all had great showings even if we didn't see any DH2 gameplay. The first game is enough to get me excited by a sequel being announced for now. No interested in that card game or TESO, while I don't have iOS for Fallout Shelter. As for Battlecry, I like online games so I'm not going to write it off yet, but nothing they showed us today has me interested in it so far. All in all an excellent start to E3.

Great conference, spent little time on the stuff nobody cares about and more time on what we do care about. I'm sold on Fallout 4 day 1, Doom looks like something I'll eventually get like Wolfenstein.

I didn't care much for Battle Cry or TESO, was a little disappointed they showed less of Dishonored 2, but I think they well over compensated. Do want to play Dishonored on my PS4 though, I never got to play all the DLC. I like the idea of Fallout Shelter, I'll try it but I'm not too big into mobile games.

I never really got into Fallout NV or 3, but Fallout 4 looks amazing they definitely pushed the bar the Witcher 3 set as of now.

Grade: A, one of the best E3 conferences.
