Glory by Britney Spears and This Is What The Truth Feels Like by Gwen Stefani

Lol universal acclaim =/= better than Joanne (re: Glory, haven't listened to Gwen's yet). The album may not be "terrible", but it's certainly not good or great...it's boring, generic and forgettable, all the songs sound like bonus tracks and that Make Me song is beyond mediocre and outdated.


As for the Mariah mess...smh. She should have semi retired after E=MC, live off the "iconic" status for a while, make an appearance in an award show every couple years to present an award while getting a standing ovation, get inducted into the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame, make a "comeback" with a world tour.
Instead, she went nuts and developed this bizarre "Real Housewife reality tv" personality while continuing to release bad music and getting dragged by Eminem and now doing a reality tv shitshow. Shame.

This is What the Truth Feels Like has some nice songs (I actually like them all and use 4 of them almost weekly) but I can see some of the complains people have against it.

Baby Don't Lie is still a cute romp that sadly was wasted, along with Spark the Fire, with those trashy tumblr visuals she was trying to push at the beginning of the era before discarding them by the time the album dropped.

I am also listening to Love you to Death rn and DAMN! it really is one of the best album released this year! Tegan & Sarah came with this one tbh
