they're way different albums. I feel like Beyonce was an all-round pop album, Lemonade has a theme that carries through and evolves throughout the entire album.

The way Beyonce rendered her entire previous discography virtually unlistenable, and now Lemonade (while not quite as impactful as an album) puts to shame that project's already masterful visuals.

Her vocal delivery has never been better. All the little well-placed ornaments and ad-libs just elevate her so far above any other active pop vocalist, not even taking into account the immensely polished production.

I don't know how she'll be able to top herself presentation-wise.

Am I the only one who liked 4 way, way more than self-titled? (yeah I know I'm not literally the only one, but the difference in reception/impact was so huge from my perspective). I still listen to 1+1, Countdown, Love On Top constantly and I was sorta over s/t like a week after it came out.
