Yes, in mainland Europe almost all major retail releases bar CoD and stuff like Diablo are on a Friday.

I know this isn't the case, but I honestly wouldn't be surprised if the game did come out on that date and Ubisoft does jackall to promote it. Then they'd cry "See? No one buys these games! No more Beyond good and Evil! Thats that."
