3 hours in, all I can say it's long time I have felt so emotional because of a game like now. I even feel bad in the stomach.

They just announced this won't be day one digital.
If I could pirate it I would, but I'm just going to buy it used and trade it in a day or two later.

Yep, Sony in Norway.
Day-of-release embargo on a game this high-profile means they're probably anticipating middling reviews.
I don't blame them after trying the demo. Seems alright, but those controls just aren't going to cut for some (maybe even a lot of) people.

As someone who refuses to buy physical games, it's a great annoyance when pirates can easily play a digital copy, and I have to wait several months for a digital release that may never happen.
I'm completely willing to pay the PSN tax for this digitally, but yet they refuse to give it to me.
Yes baby. Please report back after you beat it. Just say if the release embargo is justified because of some stupid shit or if it is nothing and Sony is just afraid of spoilers.3 hours in, all I can say it's long time I have felt so emotional because of a game like now. So you're willing to buy a physical copy and trade it in when you're done, yet you'd prefer a digital copy which you can't trade in or sell if you end up hating it and wish you hadn't bought it? That makes a lot of sense.

I don't buy physical media, in the same way I don't print things anymore, send letters, or get paper bills.
I'm a fan of Heavy Rain, so I'm very disappointed that this isn't coming to PSN.
What the fuck?
Edit : You're a fan of Heavy Rain yet you'd pirate this game if you could?

Fantastic. Please do that. Really curious about that. But maybe since they are doing it with rain too there is no problem at all. Let's see and thank youIm gonna report back when I finish it how I feel, nothing about the game, but how I feel (like about why the embargo is so close to release?).

Where is that logic coming from ? Did Rockstar also anticipate bad reviews for GTAV when the embargo was the day before release ? Guys...Day-of-release embargo on a game this high-profile means they're probably anticipating middling reviews.
I hate guys like you :/They just announced this won't be day one digital.

So I just finished, just about 13 hours or so (so over the 10 hours David Cage said).
It was an emotional rollerocoaster ride. I felt angry and sad. Angry due to some shit people did in the game (wanted to kill those people) and sad (most of the time). I even cried about 4 times or so.
The story is nothing like Heavy Rain, more sci.-fi. It was good, very well (both exciting and emotional) and I had just a couple of pauses.
I guess the reason for the embargo lift is so close release is simply due to it's easy to spoil the big "thing" about the game, very easy. When I write my review, it's gonna my incredible difficulty to write about the story.
The game was awesome. Buy it.
I really want to write more about how the game/story is built up since it's nothing I guess you GAFfers will expect it to be. But due to the embargo I can't. So Im gonna just say I was very confused the first 2-3 hours, then things got more clear about how the game/story was built.
So when is the demo out properly?
Tuesday.

I have two questions: have you played the demo before? Does it spoil a lot? I'm even afraid to go into the demo thread to read about it. I want no spoilers at all.
Second question, just out of curiosity: does Sony still send white disks for reviews?
