BEYOND: Two Souls 'Guilt' TV Spot

I think a lot of Gaffers will feel guilt after they do certain things to themselves while watching that shower scene.

this game looks much better than Heavy Rain

I feel like this game is tricking us into thinking it is good by using montages in every trailer. But I am hopeful.

This will flop so bad at retail, should had been out in Feb not now after GTA5

It's not like it's coming out this week or next. Believe it or not GTA5 will not consume all the dollars spent on video games this year.

Super excited for this and getting it day 1. I don't even care if it's bad, just like previous Quantic Dream games it's something I have to experience for myself.

And yet, compared to The Last of Us, the game still features character (especially facial) animations that make them seem like lifeless dolls situated deep in the uncanny valley.

Who will stop playing GTA,BF4, ect to play this?

Guaranteed this doesnt make top 10 NPD in OCT

tons or powerful IPs will make this not get noticed.

Realize this game is not getting the Uncharted/Last OF Us backing

From Sony Advertising campaign either.

Heavy Rain didn't get a commercial at all in the US and it still sold over 200k in its first month.

People said the same thing about Heavy Rain and that ended up being quite profitable for Sony and Quantic Dream. While it's easy to brush off any new IP in favour of established franchises I wouldn't write it off as quick as you have.

I'm not getting GTA or BF4....I do understand I am in the minority though.

Regardless, Quantic Dream has built a decent fan base after Heavy Rain. I have faith the game will do well. Day one purchase for me!

You do realise this is aimed at a completely different audience than GTA or BF4, right? The may well flop in the US but also sell very well elsewhere in the world, so NPD, while indicative aren't exactly a measure of success.

The game will do fine and probably preform similarly to HR, which means fuck ton of profit for Sony.

I hope this intrigues non-hobbyists (meaning drawing in outside appeal). Heavy Rain still gets them serious brownie points from me, even if there end up being some problems overall with this one.

MGS4, Heavy Rain, Uncharted, TLoU, GTAV and now Beyond: Two Souls

It`s hard to resist. I hope this games will come to PS4 via Gaikai.

Hmmm.

I dunno, this very well just could be the ads but I don't like the heavy amount S.W.A.T/Military stuff I'm seeing. That's just not a very interesting use of this concept to me.

Moderately interested in this, the story theme doesn't really interest me much, unfortunately. Wish they had gone the sci-fi route Kara suggested. :P

I never was entirely impressed with this game or Heavy Rain to begin with, but I think I'll play through both of them as a good Swan song to my PS3 :)

Oh come on, America is the only market that truly matters and NPD is the real determiner of success.
