120fps?

I just Google it and it seems it doesn't support 120fps on the consoles. My mistake as my CX shows 4k 120fps information even though game is running at 60. I was fooled as it was very smooth ingame and couldn't distinguish it from warzone 2 and halo infinite which are running at 120fps.

what system are you playing on? i've played all 3 modes (mainly conquest and breakthrough). never an issue for finding full matches. RARELY i've experienced jumping in a match that has bots, but during the course of the match, they are swapped out to real players. crossplay enabled of course. when i turn it off do series x only, yeah, can't find shit.

i just played a round of conquest on that new map and it was pretty polished and fun.

I've been playing the PS5 version for about 10 hours or so with cross play on and I've never had the issue you are talking about. Most of that time btw was before this new season started, I'd argue that is even more unlikely as more would be playing now based on the new map, not less.

So....this sounds like a user error issue and I don't see enough here to pretend its anything else.

I’ve put a ton of time in all the battlefields but after the beta and even giving the trial a go I was disappointed.

Since it hit gamepass I decided to try it out and I’ve been having a lot of fun. I think there is a lot to dislike, but the base gameplay is good. Once I got the feel of the maps/flow it has made it super fun.

I’ve been using the one guy that can revive anyone just being a revive machine. I do wish we had access to more guns without the level grind.

Currently my only complaint, and it’s happened to me since the beta, is I’ll be firing a full auto ar (trigger held down) and my gun will stop shooting. There seems to be a slight delay before i can get the gun firing again.


All in all I recommend giving it a shot!

Downloaded it and I must admit I had a blast playing it. Feels a lot better.

i gotta play again today and see if it was a fluke. But i forced myself to sit down and play for awhile the other day. Really wasn't digging it at first

but i think i've flip flopped. Portal mode which was the only thing i liked during the beta and 10 hour trial......now sucks. And the main 2042 mode is where i was able to have a good time. It had to be two specific maps tho. I guess the new one. Which design wise im not a fan of, since its very linear and skinny. But for whatever reason it works. And there was one other map that was good. Not sure the name.

like the first hour i wasn't having a good time. But the 2nd hour in i started having fun. Can't really put my finger on why. The only thing i could think is map flow was funneling me into good fights

i still have a lot of issues with the game. Still not thrilled about the vehicle system. Or the specialists/class thing. The skinny map makes flanking annoying. Because the borders are very close to the action. U can't like drive or sneak around far out. But i did have more fun playing 2042 the other nite than i probably ever had playing BF V.

Portal which by all measures should be a game seller has become such a disappointment. At launch there were many fun servers and games to jump into. Now its just trash servers for XP farming, or facing A.I bots. Theres only a handful or semi-normal games to jump into, and they all have rules i didn't like. I found no normal classic servers to play the old games the way they were meant to be played. Well those servers do exist, but they all had ZERO players in them. It seems the only ppl left playing Portal just want to xp farm to unlock stuff.

they need to delete XP progression from Portal to save it i think.
