Yeah, but I think that supports my point? The fact that the engine doesn't have to load a bunch of new assets just for a cutscene it what enables you to skip the cutscene and get right back to the game, isn't it?
You're right, it definitely helps to go from A to B without loading C. The impressive thing is just how fast they can go from A to B, which sometimes gets ignored because people assume they do a bunch of background loading while you watch a cutscene.
