I've never played a single Bioshock game last gen, so this is my reaction to these news!

This game gimme motion sickness. Dunno why. Anyone too?
Start with the first, its probably the best imo. Infinite is only ok.
You are in for a treat
Still have a REALLY bad taste in my mouth from part 2 of the Infinite DLC, but will probably pick this up for the commentary.
This I won't disagree with. I really liked BioInf, and BaS pt.2 I enjoyed the gameplay, but as for the story...
I found that its ending basically renders all of what you accomplished in BioShock Infinite to be completely pointless, and I hate that so much.
Is 60fps physics and animations in the remasters a reasonable assumption?
I retract my statement with the caveat that the slew of recent Remasters doesn't sit well with me. New ideas are the only thing that will push the medium forward.
Snoooore
This game doesn't prevent other games from being made. Give me a break.

Remasters are done by teams who are not involved with new projects, generally studios that specialize in porting games. Remasters give players who want them a great experience, and give the publishers more financial power that benefits their studios working on new projects. Remasters grow the money in the industry for the better. They don't stamp out teams that do new games.I retract my statement with the caveat that the slew of recent Remasters doesn't sit well with me. I'm so jealous of you. The BioShock games, along with the Zero Escape series, are games I wish I could I could replay with a clean slate and experience them all over again.I've never played a single Bioshock game last gen, so this is my reaction to these news!
Who's remastering the games?Snoooore

If I remember correctly, it was only given free to existing owners prior to sometime in 2013 when Bioshock 2 ditched GFWL. Future owners still need to buy Minerva separately. You'll get It for free. The Steam version of Bio2 came with Minerva's Den added in free.
Likely not gonna happen. I remember some EA CEO or something said that HD remasters are only for companies who ran out of ideas.Soooo happy.
All I am missing now is Mass Effect trilogy remastered.

If you own BioShock, you get BioShock Redux, and if you own BioShock 2, you get BioShock 2 Redux. The language in 2K's announcement, and the fact that Minerva's Den isn't listed separately but rather as a Bio2 Redux feature, suggests to me that Minervra's Den will be rolled into Redux by default as opposed to DLC and ownership of the original release is not required to qualify for the upgrade ("and/or Minerva's Den", but you can't own Minerva's Den without owning BioShock 2, so if it were a factor, it'd read "and Minerva's Den" instead).
Pretty much.
Will keep an eye on the PC Bioshock 1 remaster, though. I hate the 30fps physics bug it currently has.
