Of course the mentally deranged will try to steal the colour purple, because it's the coolest. And of course, being how they are, they have to fuck it up by adding the pink hue. They really must ruin everything, always

I like purple. The latest Zelda game has a lot of purple and it's the best. The Warp and Slaanesh in Warhammer 40,000 is depicted as purple. Purple is the color of royalty.

For years now I've noticed this trend of anything that has a purple hue somewhere in the game poster to normally mean the product has, how can I put it.. a lower quality to it somewhere along the line and I don't think I was the only one to notice, going by a few posts on here I've seen on Gaf

Yeah I've noticed this for years, these particular colors always show up, and run quickly if you see them.
It's basically a combination of various gay schemes but with a strong emphasis on the tranny flag colors, which are themselves essentially baby blues & pinks & purple on between them -- emphasizing the age regression part that is overall inseparable from sexual androgyny. At least it's not subtle.

For those that keep posting everything that is purple like "so is this ghey too?" no, it's obviously not just any purple. It's a specific kind of purple + baby colors + neon spectrum that is more of a scheme than a single shade. Classic purple is royal, don't associate it with this trash.

Yes, it's called design trends, in the 2000s it got that bad that it became a meme "Teal & Orange", then we had a brief period of block colours on posters (like a black stencil image on a solid colour background) and the current trend is the purple hues.
