Holy hell at that Vizio 65"!!!

Makes me sad I spent 2k on a 46" Sony Bravia XBR 4 years ago...

I'm hoping Amazing will have some amazing deals like this, because even for that good of a deal I am not going to go out and fight with the crazies on Black Friday.

That TV will be sold out in .2 seconds.

Also, just wait till spring and it will be down to that price anyways.

Sam's Club Black Friday is completely unlike other Black Friday sales (and even more different this year since they aren't even gonna open til 7 AM). My wife runs her own club and I also worked at other ones for several years previously. The lines aren't near as long and the chaos is a lot more controlled, especially when compared to Walmart. They stick most of the TV's/game systems/iPods/whatever is on sale up front so that it's easy access. You just grab your flatbed as you walk in and go.

They've pushed back their opening time because people don't blast Sam's Club like they do Best Buy or Walmart or other stores like that - 99.9% of things in Sam's stay the same price. Everything for Black Friday is generally items that are one time buys and they'll never carry again, or carry a different version of normally. It's really only a small handful of TV's or other items people chase, and they are all up front on the cart rail for your ease of access. Clubs generally hand out pull tickets so there's no scrambling, your item is already reserved.

If you're there before opening you should be able to grab one of those 65" Vizios easy if you want. Some TV's are sent two pallets per club, most get 4-5 or more in my experience - particularly Vizios, which is a brand Sam's does very well with due to the price point versus Samsung/Sony/etc. A TV that size is only gonna have 2 or 3 tops per pallet, however. If your club is a high volume club, they'll probably get several more than smaller ones, obviously.

TLDR: Sam's Club is Black Friday Light Mode. You should be fine if you wanna get one. You can get up later, get a ticket and not have to scramble.

Shit, Dishonored is going to be 25 dollars?? Hell yeah. Hopefully something on Hitman, but that is close to release.

Tempted to pick up Brave on Blu, but that will be gone rapidly I'm sure.

Theyre opening at 8pm on Thanksgiving?

Are you kidding me?

These bastards expect all their employees to abandon thanksgiving at 7pm so they can report in?

What fuckwads.

Look, I dont care if youre ok with screwing your thanksgiving up to stand in line. Thats your right. But you fuck over millions of retail employees.

For once, Im happy about blue laws. Massachusetts bans stores from requiring employees to work on Thanksgiving. Black Friday cant start until 12:30am.

But the early opening time won't apply to stores in Rhode Island and Massachusetts because of restrictions in the two states. A Wal-Mart spokesman told NBC 10 News that stores in the two states will open at 1 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 23.

Blue laws for everyone!

The stores are selling Canon and Nikon DSLR kits with a bunch of stuff. Any chance of finding bundles like that online? (Amazon?)

Go newegg, bhphoto, or adorama for great camera bundles. Beach is also an option but is semi shady.

I still shudder when my sister in law talks about the great deal she got at Best Buy for a T3i with two junk lenses for $1,200.

EDIT: both Canon and Nikon now have MAP policies, which allow them to set the price of the cameras and lenses. I don't expect huge sales this year but the sites I listed are your best bet.

This should be national, I work at Target and we open at 9, fuck it.

Newegg's pre BF sales is up. Brought a 64GB SSD for $60.

Some pretty cool deals in there. If you don't already own Kirby Mass Attack, it is one of the best DS games. GET IT!

Also, the G500 mouse is on sale! I believe it is the best gaming mouse ever.

Last year I went to Wal-mart for some $5 blu-ray's but I just waited until noon to go and they still had them all. I found Yakuza 4 for $10 too.

Is there likely to be good deals on 50 inch led/lcd + TVs in mid January? I'm not going to have money to drop on one this month.

Right after the Superbowl is when to buy. New models incoming and the retailers bought up for the game and get lots of returns afterwards.

Looking for a good deal on Mad Men season 5 on Blu-Ray, a good price on the Indiana Jones Blu-Ray set, and a good deal on Halo4/Halo Anniversary.

Besides that, its all about Steam sales.

I work at Sports Authority here in FL. It's not official for T-Day, but I'm scheduled to work 8am-2pm on T-Day. Then I have to come back at midnight since we open at that time on Black Friday.

That's some effed up shit right there. Who gives a shit about clothes, shoes ,and sporting goods.

If I'm scheduled to work 8am-2pm on T-Day, I'm gonna think about calling out.

Are there any places where PC games are being sold cheap during Black Fridays? I've been checking out the retailers' ads, and I can only find console stuff. :-(

I'm interested in a new HDTV, 40-46" led lcd. and also a Quality 7.1 surround setup. If I can't find a good sale I'll probably wait until a new model price drop next summer.

Having stores open on Thanksgiving Day is crazy.

Walmart seem out for blood this year too, with price matching on all competitors' ads and guaranteed in stock for 1 hour on some items and you get a raincheck if it's sold out in the store. I think I'll just sit at home and watch football, I'm not going to go to Walmart and fight other people for cheap shit.

Ordered a refub Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7" 1ghz dualcore 8GB memory) for 150 from Walmart.

Its 10 cheaper's than Best Buy's door buster price. I am not sure if I can get the door buster deal anyway. Although its fun to wait on the line.

Well the Walmart close to me was the one that killed a worker in one Black Friday, definitely not going in person.

I think you misunderstand. They're open all day on thanksgiving, it's just that the black friday sales start until 8PM.

I've been looking for an excuse to buy dishonored I've rented it a couple of times from redbox.

I'll bite for 25 where at walmart?

Yeah, fuck those companies.
They dont care about families, they care about money.
But who can blame them, boats ain't gonna buy themselves.

I'm looking for a cheap tablet to buy for Christmas, 200 or less.

Do I get a Nexus 7 or are there any good black friday deals coming up. I don't care if it is off brand, I just don't want something that is pure junk.

Only in 'murica.

Yes, it would be since other countries don't have thanksgiving.

What are you talking about? Most people like it since holiday pay is usually at least double your normal pay. But ya, boat building or something whatever that means.
