I saw a couple of Vizio and Samsung bars on Slickdeals recently, but I didn't see any particular deal that was Earth-shatteringly good. It's going to depend on what you want to spend and your expected improvement in sound quality, too.

Yeah it went fast. I selected the tv as a watched item and it showed the countdown. I immediately clicked it when it went to zero. I would have never known if I wasn't on slick deals though. They posted it in upcoming app only deals like 10 minutes before it went live.

the last time it was on sale was january 4th, 2013 at $11.99 thus this is the first time in nearly 2 years it has been on sale, and is the cheapest it has ever been.
still a very niche jrpg game though.

I got this a few months ago and I'm pretty happy with it. Granted, I got it refurb and paid $170. Still, sounds pretty good and is super small.

Couldn't pass on Vampire Hunter D for $10, one of my favorites. And I picked up Redline as well - I keep hearing good things about the animation.

Does anyone know if there are any deals on PS3 (preferably the Super Slim, 500 GB model)? I have long been wanting to play Ni No Kuni but can't really justify spending $250 for a single game. Yes, there are other PS3 games that interest me but they're either not out yet (Yakuza 5 (Western release)) or they're not as high on my list of games to play. With all the remasters happening for PS4, it's sort of surprising that Ni No Kuni isn't getting the treatment as well or at least a port.

I've had a pair of Astro A40s for years and have been thinking of picking up a new pair of headphones. Are the HD598s enough of an upgrade for me to pull the trigger? I mostly use them for gaming so it's not like I'm an audiophile or anything, I don't even have a dedicated sound card,
