Ditto, I was hyped to the high heavens for the original, and came away with a very sour taste. It sounded like the best game ever, to be honest, and unfortunately of what I've seen in previews and the like, they seem to be hyping many of the same "really awesome cool things" with number 2. The war element could make things interesting. We'll see.

I'll probably bite, I'm a sucker for "god" games, ever since populous and dungeon keeper..

Same story as everyone else reguarding the original B&W....I fell for the moleneux-hype and was very dissapointed...I still played a lot of it though, just because I like the genre.

I care, and I will buy because I have a helpless weakness for products of Peter Molyenux and I use to love god games (even the first B&W, with all its faults and all). It´s one of the few genres I can keep playnig even if I know the game is not very good.

Lionhead's hype machine makes it impossible to judge the actual quality of their games until they've been out for at LEAST a month or two. I'm sick of their bullshit. I'll be holding off, if not skipping it altogether.

I enjoyed B&W1 a ton. Probably because I didn't pay attention to any previews and didn't have any misplaced expectations thanks to Mr. Molyneux.

Also I enjoy abusing animals and tossing villagers down cliffs.
