The camera gets surprisingly close to the fighters, showing off crystal-clear spites that take up more than half the vertical expanse of the screen (the sprites are naturally drawn this large). This is a cool feature to see in a DS title, and combined with all the effects used for special attacks, makes for a game that truly makes use of the DS's power, as opposed to many of the other anime fighters for the system that seem to be just Game Boy Advance engines running with touch screen support.
