Blim does it again PDZ Video

With VCL player it works fine. Thanks. Very nice video! All those crappy (official!) screenshots don't do justice to the graphical performance of this game.
 
Blim: Does the actual game have that slight motion blur seen in your video? That subtle effect really enhances the whole feel of the game.

Yes, there is a motion blur.

Finally, a game with this friggin' effect in-game :) I hated the cheesy motion blur used in current gen games... the real HDR-based blur looks about 1.2 million times better.

I think SotC uses temporal motion blur, and PDZ uses a much more advanced technique. Anyone with more knowledge of SotC than me, feel free to correct my mistake if I'm wrong.
 
Game looks fun but the art style is ass. Joanna looks like some bizare Run Lola Run knock off with Anime eyes, yet moves like shes in a Playmate Video. Also the futuristic bikes with no spokes is just some lame Akira (i think thats the name of it but I'm no expert) wanna be.
 
Blimblim, I dont know what the difference is but it pretty much seems to work in the same way to me. That is: upon reaching a given camera movement speed, environment blurs. That's what happens with both PDZ and GOW (fast looking around), PGR3 (at turns) and SOTC (fast camera rotation around main character). Actually I can go as far as saying that they share the same "issue", that being that non-background elements (like the car in front of you in PGR3 or the horse in SOTC) dont blur when everything else does (you basically see the car/horse perfectly on focus but on a blurred background)
 
Blim, how did PDZ look to you? You were there personally, there's no better opinion than from one who has witnessed it in the most direct way. Forget about the characters, and other specific things. As a whole, how did it look to you?
 
The way the shooting cursor jitters around painfully reminds me that I will have to play this game with a fucking gamepad.
 
Aw man, the biggest title in the X360 universe and they haven't sorted out the continuity errors in the cutscene-gameplay transitions.

But as much as I don't like the latest round of Joanna models, that look 4 seconds in is pure Overton, and makes me happy.
 
impressive. Suprises me each time I actually see it in play. Love the shotgun and the revolver too. A cool boss, he looks stupid as hell but it's a cool boss, seems hard. Maybe cause they suck at FPS.

I hope this is as fun as Farcry: Instincts.
