I'm really glad that Jay isn't ashamed to say upfront that they get inspirations and ideas for the game from other Blizzard titles (primarily WoW, but still) it's a great reminder that yeah, while Blizzard is fucking huge and currently has 4-5 separate teams working different properties, that there is communication amongst the different teams which, in turn, makes the games themselves better. Dunno why, I just find that comforting.

Yep. I was pretty upset when they closed Blizzard North but it seems to have worked out for the better. I do wish they'd differentiate their art stills a bit more...although what we've seen of D3 this year definitely looks a lot less like WoW than it did last year.

We are getting reports in that the Blizzard Live Feed supplied by DirectTV is not functioning properly. We too are in the same boat and can not get the account we paid for to work. When they began broadcasting and people logged on to watch they are being greeted with a message “Your account has expired. Please repurchase”.

We have been in touch with DirecTV support but as yet still have received no reply.

Update: We subscribed a second time only to get to view it for 20 minutes, then it turned off and said “your subscription has now expired”. So $100 for 20 mins viewing so far. They are not responding to any support and there is no phone number for anyone out of the US.

I’m beginning to think DirecTV are a bunch of sharks. WWI streamed for free with no problems. To say I’m pissed off is an understatement.

Sooooo glad I didn't put money down for that.

The Starcraft that just finished was pretty sweet. Warcraft 3 is kinda meh, why are they mixing the two together? I wanted to see all the Starcraft in 1 block.
