I would absolutely love it if all the rumors and leaked info turned out to be false. Even more so if Blizzard were the ones who did the leaking ;)

I'm not banking on that, but it would make my day if it happened :D

I wouldn't. It sounds better then anything they have done for WoW before, and FAR better then another new boring content, another boring 10 levels, more shit lore, and more things that impact the game for all of 1 year then nobody cares about it anymore. Outlands is a wasteland, it's a dump now. You see a few odd alts here and there, sure it was great while it lasted, but then it became a joke to the game.

Changing old-world, will always impact World of Warcraft for as long as the game still exists.

A friendly tipster has let us know that currently on the official WoW site, the map of Azeroth is listed as "really outdated" (see screenshot above). This is the clickable map that gives information about each zone. The Outland and Northrend maps are still up, but the Azeroth map is down.

Hm...a portent of Cataclysmic events, anyone? This is an entertaining little leak from the Blizzard web team. I'm sure we'll get the full story in a few hours from our Anaheim ground team, but for now, this is a subtle hint at what might go down in the next chapter of WoW history, and where.
