Who are those guys? I think the dragon thing in the middle is from wrath of the lich king, dunno who the other 2 guys are. A diablo guy and a starcraft guy?

when are they unveiling the last class for diablo 2?

and have they mentioned anything about the single player specific units for starcraft 2? i'd like to see some of the scrapped units from the multiplayer mode

I want to play as a ninja. Monk is close enough I guess. I bet you can make him look like a ninja with the right gear.

God that girl's question was awful. She didn't even know what she was asking... or saying. I feel bad for blizzard... I hope they know they have some intelligent fans out there as well who wouldn't waste their time asking such ridiculous things.

I'm obviously in the minority here, but I think Goblins are much cooler than Worgen. I guess I'm just not much of a furry.

I think goblins will be more popular than most people expect.

The fun racials is definitively a + in favor of goblins, but they have veryt nice looking models and they will probably attract gnomes fans to reroll a goblin.

I think they will also be very popular among a couple of race/class combo like rogues.

I think they will be about on par with Draenei popularity wise.My race representation for Cataclysm:

Alliance
  1. Worgen
  2. Human
  3. Night elf
  4. Draenei
  5. Gnome
  6. Dwarf

Horde

  1. Blood elf
  2. Forsaken
  3. Tauren
  4. Goblin
  5. Orc
  6. Troll

DK,paladins and druids should definitively be the most popular classes.Worgen will give a huge boost to the popularity of the druid class.

Seriously this needs to stop.

Q:"Can you please spoil the game?"
A:"Hell no, go away!"

And then the next guy comes along with such a question. -.-

Q: Will Monks be able to perform a hadoken?
A: Maybe
Wow.

What did they say about 1.3?

11:44 - Guild Advancement now

They want people to be in a guild. The game is more fun when you're in a guild.

Players earn guild experience in a variety of ways.

You can level your guild up through 20 levels of guild leveling.

Killing a boss, rated bgs, areans, profession, and reputation ranks will all help level the guild.

To get credit for a boss kill, you need to have 75% of the people in the group be from your guild to earn leveling experience for your guild.

Each time you gain a level, you'll earn talent points. Each point will be placed in the guild talent tree. The guild talent tree will apply to everyone in the guild.

Guild talents will be like mass rezs and reduced repair costs.

Ex talents:

Everybody's friend: Removes the reagent requirement for raid wide buff spells

Cash flow: increases: the gold drop rate by 7% for all kills from creatures or players that reward experience or honor.

Another example: Summon your entire raid instantly!!!

These guild talents will be retalentable. You can respec your guild.

The crowd is loving this.

Guild leveling sounds amazingly useful.

Guild heirlooms!

Very good question!

11:59: Mastery up now.

GC: "Talent trees are cool but they're getting kind of big."

GC: "We have this problems where a lot of talents are trying to do three different things."

GC: "Passive bonuses compete with fun talents."

GC: "We're taking the passive talents, getting rid of them, and you'll earn the passive talents just for putting points in that tree."

GC: "You'll still get the benefits you want, but you'll have a lot more fun."

IE: Spell Power, Cruelty, Fire and Brimstone. Those talents will be going away.

Masteries seem like a great improvement for the game. Now I can take Hungering Cold without feeling like I wasted a point that could have been spent further optimizing my Frost DK build.

I always feel bad when people laugh at questioners questions. Even if they warrant it, with people so nervous, it just makes it uncomfortable.

No Runewords is bad but I guess they know what they're doing.

SC2 will get two panels later on today, one on lore and one on gameplay. Both will be streamed.

Good, i like Wow and all but it seems like this year is more WOWCON '09, i know its a huge game for them but show some love to the other games LOL!!

runes must have a major effect though maybe even greater then before with the way they talk about them.
Exactly! It'll be interesting to say the least :D

Gah. I'm not going to lie, I really want to roll a Worgen or Goblin. And I know I'll atleast roll 1 of each to experience the starting area...I just hate the idea of having a main that EVERYONE else will have...but when I think about it there's still probably just as many Orc's out there now and I main one of those...so oh well. I need to stop trying to be so indie.

They mentioned that you could make a single fire spell shoot multiples or increase it's speed through runes potentially, so it sounds like runes can really change your build based on how you spec them.

Makes it seem like builds will now be two tiered:

1st Tier: Talent Selection
2nd Tier: Rune Selection

I imagine you could make a charged boltress that shoots out even more charged bolts, faster bolts, harder hitting bolts, etc.

Hopefully they do a good job balancing all this or it's going to lead to some pretty obvious cookie cutter builds.

not one god damn question about amount of players per game...
Just about every question was a total disappointment.

You know that they aren't going to reveal anything that they haven't already revealed, so 90% of the questions were completely pointless. 5% of the questions were repeats and the last 5% were somewhat informative.

Open QA sucked some serious ass. I laughed when the game designer guy said "there is almost nothing we can't answer up here, so ask us anything."

lol ya. was a pretty bad QA.

In separate interviews, both Mike Morhaime and Rob Pardo have said it'll be a long time before Blizzard reveals their mysterious new MMO, ah well :)

Although Morhaime did reiterate that it's taking place in a "new universe". Meaning it's not Starcraft, Warcraft or Diablo related.
