Is there a "wrong way" to go? I just beat boss two, got his lantern lit, went into the
tomb thing, lit that one, then continued into a cathedral, down below a grave, and got a lantern lit in "Old Yharnam". It's next sequentially on the list of places to warp to from the Hunter's Dream, but I don't know if that's because it's the next logically or if the warp locations just get added when you find them, regardless of how you're "supposed" to

Uhhh...wow.

That black hole-esque thing picked me up again in the area to the right of the Great Cathedral.

I kind of saw what it was, didn't get a look at it's face but could see it's hand holding me. It looked like it had multiple arms. Some Eldritch Horror lovecraft shit there
Someone hasn't been reading the item descriptions :p

The game starts becoming more about werewolves whenever you read the madman's skull description haha

I'll ask on the new page:

Sorry, I'm sure it's been asked, but since I downloaded the new update, what's the difference between online and offline? Is it just the invasions?

Well that's 3/4 through the "required route". You may have missed some zones that would add onto that time. But yeah, I don't feel like this one is as long as either Dark Souls game.

Hmm, interesting. Yeah I'm sure I have a decent amount left still do, just doesn't sound like 20-30 hours more.

Hey guys! Hope you have fun!
I beat the two first bosses and I am in a new area and I would like to ask about 2 armor sets:

I think it's possible to get
Gascoigne
set, where can I find it?
And about the "Plague Doctor" (the one with the crow mask, you know) set, how can I get it?

(Maybe I'm not far enough in the game, but tell me if there are spoilers in your answers compared to where I am)

So is there any useless stat category that I should know before pumping my blood echos into it? Does Arcane do anything at all?

Every stat is "useful" depending on what item you want to use. Certain items scale with different stats. Some scale pretty decently with bloodtinge and arcane.

I'd say Bloodtinge is the most "dubious" stat to raise as I didn't see anything that scaled amazingly well with it and I don't see a gun focused build being feasible.

Arcane allows you to use certain items in the game that inhabit your quick slots that do interesting things and also increases any elemental damage you do. If you ever apply fire paper or bolt paper to your weapon, arcane scales that up (which can be very very useful). There's also a flamethrower that I believe scales with Arcane.

Father G Set: Have 10 insight on hand and go to Hunter's Dream. There will be another Bath messenger that appears only when you have 10 insight or more. He sells the set for 1 insight for all the pieces except the chest which is 3 insight.

Definitely not. I think it's kind of short for a Souls game. My playtime was just over 30 and a lot of that was faffing around and trying to explore areas that I had already cleared through (or there was a time I was pretty lost before I found out how to get in the forbidden woods where I was wandering around for like 3 hours aimlessly...)

Please help me make a decision regarding a certain item after the second boss!!!
Do I use to red jeweled brooch? or do I give it to the little girl? WHAT DO I DO GAF!?

So I found this NPC in the F
orbidden
F
orest
and told him to go where I have all the refugees or whatever hiding out and next I go there and
he's no where to e found but one NPC is dead.
How bad did I fuck up?

Is this gonna end up being like how it was in Demon's?

Werewolves aren't easy ;p I think they're supposed to be the first stumbling block, there's 1 particular attack with a huge wind up that you should be able to use to practice counters. They rear up on their hind legs and dash forward, shoot them mid-dash.

I had to skip those werewolves they are harder than the boss
They are still hard 3 bosses in

don't fight them, go around lol

Use molatovs, my friend. Two shots and they all dead. :p

Thanks. I'll keep this in mind. I'm wondering how you skipped them, but there must be a shortcut somewhere.

Also, I think I'm gonna start over so I can get a pistol instead. Not because it's easier or anything (I think people consider the blunderbuss better), but for roleplay purposes.

He's outside by the cart I think. Kill him.
If you can.

There's an altar that says you don't have the right something something to use it at the moment. That's not the repair bench. The repair bench is directly to the right. Had me fooled for longer than I care to mention
Yea I thought that altar was the new dumb name for a workshop just how the blood echoes are the new dumb names for souls.

I've faced some somewhat "meh" designed bosses but they really knocked the environmental part out of the park in this game. I haven't found a weak area yet.

Find him just outside that room.

You know what to do. ;)

I got myself so fucking lost in the Cathedral area. I had it all unlocked and had the shortcut to the
witch
unlocked. But somehow it forced me to close a gate to get to the boss and then the boss kills me and now the damn gate is closed. Then I find myself back at hunters alley getting killed with 11.5k echoes and now I'm trying to find my way back but for the life of me cannot. Just owned the entire level but still lost and can't find my way back to the hunters alley section. SO LOST!

Oooooooh well, I'm almost there!

Thank you!

Once you have 10 insight points you can buy a special bell from one of the stores in hunters dream (for 1 insight) that allows you to invade people

That doesn't let you invade though. It allows someone else to invade you, right? I also saw someone say that if you have your beckoning bell active, you can be invaded?

You get the ability to buy all the starting weapons relatively early so no need to restart for pistol

So I went into the unlocked door to the right of the
Cathedral Ward
lamp post and got to the end with the white Cthulu esque white guy that shoots magic at you. After killing him I destroyed some boxes to the left of his original location, went in-between the alleyway and fell through the map and died.

Huh, well that's pretty shitty. Where is all this 40+ hours stuff coming from then? I hope it's not that short.

From the same people that finished dark souls in 30 hours and my first run was 80 or so.
