i think you can go back to the hunter's dream and buy new gear now

You are correct, but not from the same bath messenger :P It involves spending insight though. Won't spoil it, but you'll see when he goes back hopefully.

Can you tell me? I just got 1 insight from activating an item and I have no idea what it does.

Insight is used
for the co-op portion of the title, but also currency to purchase from items from a merchant as well.

Edit: Hopefully he finds the merchant considering its kind of hidden in plain sight.

How do you guys feel you will do against the Cleric Beast? After seeing the stream I think it wont be that hard; I could be wrong since Bloodborne's gameplay is more fast-paced and I'm not used to it yet but I think it'll only take me a few tries, 6-7 at most.

guys im going to stop here! I'll let you all know when i stream again!

Wait go up the stairs to the left and look
for the other merchant

Look
towards above the first merchant towards the workshop, not inside the workshop though.

Edit: Too late. Either way thanks for streaming.

Oh wow, so once you kill that NPC will it never come back to help explain the story? How do you know if it is friendly? Can someone post a picture of it.

I don't know. I think you can revive them in Dks 2. It won't attack you if it's friendly, even if it looks like a monster. :p

Only saw maybe 2-3 minutes, game looks amazing. All them feels from seeing Demons Souls the first time.

There won't be a game this year that I'm remotely as excited to get in my hands than this one.

Thanks guys for answering so many of my question, as someone jumping into this series I am just overwhelmed by all the stuff I don't know.

I still have a hard time figuring out what stat should people be focusing on, if people want to use the cane weapon will it tell them which stat to level up to improve it?

After playing for about an hour and a half I just want to say this feels a lot more like a Souls game than I was expecting. I suppose with the name being a new IP I thought it would be different but this is a Souls game through and through. Obviously that's what most people want to hear, but I know there's some who don't like the other games but are looking forward to Bloodborne still.

That's what I do. I find the weapon I want, check the required stats, and then level up from there.

As much as I enjoyed the stream, I can't help but feel there was something missing: the messengers. Souls isn't souls without "Illusionary Wall ahead" everywhere. I'd like to see what others have found that one could have missed.

Guess that's the trade off for playing before servers go live.
