Cleric beast is no joke yo. It's so damn hard to parry it with the gun. It was doing me more harm than good trying it. And if you're using the cleaver, have it extended out to actually be able to hit the son of a bitch. Also, don't be afraid to let go of the lock on and run to the other side if you need to heal.

Well.. all the little things I've seen so far proved wrong any claim about the locations not being very varied, to me. Also, the enemy design is stuff that nightmares are made of. It plays on everyone's phobia on some level.

Yooo I just ran past that loser after wailing on him a bit and kept wandering around hoping for a weapon. Ended up killing two dudes with my fists until I died. You get your weapons at the Hunter's Dream when you die!

boss last night ....30 tries is not where I want to be as a souls player, even with new controls and mechanics. He is decent but was obviously sword and board...doesnt know when to roll or where to do it. I can forgive him for not knowing attacks first try but after 3-4 tries you should be rolling through a couple attacks.After 10 tries and even chat asked him to roll it was just stubborness. He doestn know there are backstabs thought they were not int his game and did a riposte by accident .....once......I like his stream overall though...mostly my frustration comes from not being able to play and do better!

Seems like it so far, but again I've only just beaten the second boss so I don't know about later. The vendor in the Hunter's Dream has its inventory increased as you get farther.
