BLOODBORNE Spoiler Thread (read OP)

I have so many new games I could play right now but nothing interests me in the moment. So many games I bought recently and I just want fucking Bloodborne.

I didn't have to go into work until the afternoon today and spend the morning wondering how the hell I'm gonna get through the weekend. I know I used to be able to entertain myself but for some reason I've forgotten how and just spend my time wishing it was Tuesday.

That's exactly how I'm feeling.

I'm using most of my free time browsing one of the 20 Bloodborne threads

I feel like a 4 year old waiting for Christmas to the point I'm having trouble sleeping because of the excitement. It's fucking magical and kind of shameful at the same time.

that was a beautiful fight, he had to get so aggressive at the end to finally win, one nervous rush with dwindling supplies.

I was on the edge of my seat the whole time...when he was struggling with the 1st and then he panned over to see the 2nd one...I got chills. Incredible.

and WTF JUST HAPPENED in Sti's stream!? ....

Thank you for the feedback. I will log in to psn.

Streaming via ps4 seems like an obvious no-no, but just to be sure. Everyone streaming here using capture cards?

Some are, some aren't. Some don't mind creating new stream accounts after getting banned. Some use capture cards and stream on another website besides the mainstream ones.

Great. I look away for a minute sti gets
grabbed by a giant ghost hand and crushed to death
. What is going on in this game? I can't wait for Tuesday.

I'm currently doing some work so i'm not able to watch the steam but all i hear is a bunch of screams, It's hilarious. 'EAHRRREAHHGGGG"

Are there fatrolls in Blodoborne? Asking because I saw sti4thewin try a roll immediately after switching gear.

Edit: Can you mash L2 and R2 to get out of enemies who pick you up and stuff like in the Soul games? You should try it next time. Anyway he's gotten damn good at the game in just a day

I've been trying to gather as much info about the basics about this game as possible, but I have a question I can't seem to find the answer to.

You know how in DS2 when you die you are no longer human, and therefore can't summon any players or invade other people's games? And you'd also lose a chunk of your health? And you either had to use an item or beat a boss (or have that one ring, I forget the name of it) to gain back your humanity?

Is that mechanic still in Bloodborne? I really can't find a good answer about this, as well as how the summoning players works; lord knows I had to rely on summoning to get me through a lot of DS2 =|

No, that mechanic doesn't exist in Bloodborne. You need Insight to summon players, which you can get exploring the world, beating bosses or using a special item.

If I remember correctly you don't lose Insight when you die.

No. As far as I'm aware, the only death penalty is that you lose all your blood echoes.

When you die in Bloodborne, you die, that's it. You lose your currency at the point you died. You make it back to that point, you can get some of (or all, someone correct me on this?) it back. There is no humanity mechanic.

Mobius0ne is fighting a huge boss right now

The name of the boss is The One Reborne

So what is the point of New Game Plus going all the way to NG++++++++ until you reach max? Why would someone want to continue to fight the same bosses over and over just so it can get harder, I understand having 2 of it like NG+ and NG++ but anything after that seems repetitive and disheartening.

Maybe they just like the game very much.
