Or is it just one of Phil's balls in my throat?

Graphics look good, especially the Global Illumination. But design has turned a bit into the generic Fortnite look.
Music in the trailer was crap. Hope this is not an indication of what is to come.

I played all before this one, but I'm cautiously optimistic.
Hopefully the story and characters aren't as bad as in BL3.

Looks like they are at least trying this time around unlike the abysmal last two entries. (3 and wonderlands)

Characters still look very umm... 2020s though, here's to hoping they have improved the writing even just a little bit than wonderlands which was just embarrassing... and very 2020s

Looks like every other generic FPS game out there. Couldn't even finish the trailer. BLOW SHIT UP TOGETHER. Im out

The deep dive is in 30fps? Come on now.

I'm not sold yet at all. I want the humor of the tie first two games back, even pre sequel was good, not 3. But I don't see much humor. And surely not all the enemies are this generic? Surely there are the (midget) psychos or at least similar to it? Those are funny af.

I'll stay on the fence until we can see how bad the writing is. The shit they shoveled in 3 legitimately prevented me from playing the game - it was just so non-fucking-stop-always-talking-forever-at-maximum-volume-fuck-your-ears-is-this-funny-yet obnoxious. If they can reign that in, and get back to the more even approach of Borderlands 2, I'll come back. Tiny Tina's Wonderlands was better, but still veered into "I'M YELLING INTO MY MICROPHONE BECAUSE ITS FUNNY" far more than I'd like.

Your top of the line 3090 couldn't hold up for a few years before needing to be upgraded?
I like to play at 4K max settings and it's fine for BL3 but with the upgrade to UE5 I assume it will be more demanding.
Other UE5 titles I play at 4K max settings are ok/playable but I'd definitely prefer more performance.

It does, but it also screams 'been there, done that' multiple times.
Hmm yes but I can say the same about Metroid Prime 4 or Doom Dark Ages.

I like the Grapple, the Ordnance essential 5th weapon slot, VHs are different enough I'm not insulted by them, game is not taking place on Pandora, seamless regions instead of maps, summon your vehicle anywhere instead of needing a kiosk to interact with, enemy types and how they attack seems somewhat engaging, the game being more grounded I assume is less cringe humor and the humor is paced much better, and of course them adding the ability to replay any story mission seems like a plus to me.

Ah yes I forgot. The Siren is not Ava so brownie points for them there.

Looks good but cautiously optimistic. Do I think it'll be BL1 good in terms of atmosphere? Probably not but it seems promising.

Like almost every game that comes out a year later? wtf is your point? Troll harder.
Chill on the defensive. If you want to play another similar sequel for $70 be my guest, but don't sit there and act like the game is above criticism, or that anyone not that interested is a troll.

Never could get into Borderlands (i tried), anyone the same out there?
Yeah, the only one I even somewhat liked was 2, but even there I noped out. The whole series just doesn't do it for me. I think it works better if you are playing in co-up with a few friends while talking on Discord or something.

Exactly, i couldn't get into it maybe because i didn't play with friends.

BL coop is trash, played all games alone, 3 was a let down story wise, gameplay was fire.

This is a troll ass comment…argue if you want, but you are wrong. Context is hard isn't it?

"This will be $20 in a year."
