Those long posts don't cover that red neck boy
It can only do so much. There is no common sense here, DLSS is magic and solves everything....

PS4 and PS4 pro though as the image shows are not even in the same realm of settings while Switch 2 is almost match for Series S.
And then

Oops
It can stay 30 fps on PS4 consoles because they cut off the loading of assets so fucking drastically. And then there's Phantom Liberty which requires SSD
It can only do so much.
If PS4 had SSD it would fix that. We are talking about GPU/CPU power here not I/O:

Switch 2 version doesn't really use current gen settings (same as HL) - it's a mix.
Series S has AT LEAST 2x more CPU power.
That explains 30fps B4.
Digital Foundry did some testing with SSD vs the stock 5400RPM HD. You don't get the full effect, but I think it would be enough to fix the streaming issues.
Eight year old video, maybe system updates since have improved it?
PS4 Pro was kneecapped to the same FPS as base PS4 in all previous DF videos of the cyberpunk analysis series, same alleyways, same issues. Slapping an SSD doesn't solve this.
It's the CPU, Jaguar is weaker than S2 CPU.
I know
Why don't you reply to this guy then

Not to mention that for data decompression last gen consoles would waste CPU resources, making it even more difficult for them to get on par with Switch 2 running any current gen game, even if magically an SSD would allow them to run those games, while Switch 2 is designed around fast data transfer just like all other three current gen consolesIt's the CPU, Jaguar is weaker than S2 CPU.

Of course, but in exchange we can expect graphics to not get compromised within it's Switch 2 bounds imoYeah, PS4 wasn't designed with SSD in mind (games as well).
Switch has better CPU, more memory and more modern I/O than last gen consoles. At the same time core GPU while more modern has raw power that I mentioned before, between PS4 and PS4 Pro.
S2 can render handsome looking games when devs are smart but people shouldn't expect 60fps current gen titles on it...
My question is..... Why would anyone who is not planning to buy this game on the Switch 2 even care about people being ripped off. As the people you are talking about won't even be aware of any of this. Or the fact it's being discussed on niche internet sites in the first place?.... They will simply buy the game and play it.You're correct that it is very early days for the console. But SW2 is not the enigma it once was amid all the speculation. We now know plenty about the hardware on offer, enough to know that factually Series X and SW2 are worlds apart and shouldn't even be mentioned in the same sentence as a point of comparison. It only serves to makes you and the poor SW2 look bad. It frankly doesn't matter what level of power the console appears to have according "to me" or to you, it doesn't change reality.
It will run worse than literally every version and lacks split screen, yet costs the same $70. I'm a Borderlands fan but I've never paid full price for a BL game. I paid $15 for BL3 when I got my PS5 and had a great time with it. SW2-only owners looking for new (i.e. not a port of an old game) games are more likely to shell out the $70 and it's not a stretch to say they are getting ripped off, especially considering how much content is being cut from the base game to be sold as DLC. If you still want to play it on SW2, do you, but it'll be much cheaper and will eventually include more content for
your money if you wait.
CVG got to play it and said it ran at a stable 30fps. There was a single stutter but other than that they didn't have an issue
DockedHandheld too? Or they only played docked
